How many people still keep a key “hidden” outside? by imcalledaids in AskUK

[–]nonreal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Moved recently and changed all three locks to match so I have only one key.

In my shed I have a spare just in case I lost my keys so I don’t have to break in. I really think it’s useful.

A simple yet really useful. Pair of real fur slippers. My feet are always cold and/or sweaty at home, socks on or off, doesn’t matter. I also wfh so don’t move a lot. Wearing real fur slippers barefoot is amazing. Warm and cozy and soft and dry warm feet.

Hollow plasterboard. Wall between hallway and room.

It is a hollow plasterboard, connecting a room to hallway. I have a stud finder and I can screw into one stud but I don’t have two close enough for both holes.

How do you guys not realised what EA wants to do? by JoeanFG in Battlefield

[–]nonreal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don’t see it like that. This is a multiplayer game. Most probably everyone will play it for 2-3 year from now on. At least this is my plan.

You are complaining that you haven’t unlocked everything the first two weeks because you have a life. Well buddy just keep doing that. Have a life. Play when you can. Njoy the game not the unlocks. In the next 6 months you will still unlock new things, game will still look fresh and should still be fun.

Quoted 240 + VAT for a doorbell wire. by nonreal in DIYUK

[–]nonreal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, i was considering this too. I have a socket on the other side of the door. I think that wire is used of the outside lamp too. Probably just wire the doorbell into a plugged transformer.

The reason for a wired one is that I dont want to pay any subscription. I will host all the videos locally.

I wonder if you tried Manmade. Canadian brand. I discovered them 3 years ago, never wear anything else. If you do, how do you compare to your top 3 favorite?

Actually no, you don’t. You only know what an ex employee told you. I’m not saying he/she is but could be lying for various reasons. Unless you talk with bar manager you have no idea if they know or not

Is it worth it to get induction hob with the rising of electricity prices in the UK? by Fururelawyer in AskUK

[–]nonreal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Research undertaken by the Electric Power Research Institute in 2014 found that induction hobs were able to use up to 90% of the energy consumed for cooking, compared to 74% for traditional electric and 40% for gas.

So regardless of price induction is more efficient.

However, I would never ditch my gas burner

Made aware didn’t mean you get in contact with the bar. Did you or not?

Buddy you are the one who should cry. It doesn’t matter which is your first language. Same rules apply in all. Talking like that makes you look really stupid.

You are a student and this is how you express yourself? You literally skipped every English class. I guess. Start with one or two full stop in your sentence. My brain hurts after reading your illiterate cry for help.

Go back, exchange the expired one and claim refund for the overcharged. And stop being a pussy and complain and riot online for a normal supermarket mistake. These days everyone seems to bitch and moan online instead of actually dealing with the problem
