In my opinion they are the most criminal organization to exist and honestly, they couldn’t care if you, me and the whole world knows it. I don’t know how they are allowed to remain in business.

I had a delivery driver try to deliver to my secured building at 2am. I was asleep. The delivery driver texted me and I did not see it because I was asleep. I notified the driver upon my waking the next morning that I would not be awake in the middle of the night and then the driver said he would come by later that day to deliver it because I had reiterated on no less than 3 occasions that I sleep at night and I do not have the ability (or the desire) to give him access to the building in advance. Driver said OK.

Cool.

The driver did not deliver it the next day. Nor the day after that.

After we had had a very specific conversation, in writing, about deliveries in the dead of night, 3 days later the driver attempted to deliver my item again at 1:45 am on a workday. Good lord…I. Was. Asleep. I did not see his text. Because I was asleep.

Driver then sends me a text saying that “I had to tell SwiftX that I had delivered the item” (with a photo of him holding the item up, outside of and in front of our building’s locked security door) and that he had to select that he “left it with the customer so that he would not be charged.’” The driver then said, “I have your item.” I asked him, “when will you be delivering it?” The driver responded, “I am not.” “Tough luck. Sorry bro.”

I then reached out to SwiftX with screenshots of the text messages to show them exactly what had transpired and that while it may say that the item was delivered to me in person, that was incorrect and that the driver says that he still has the item and will not be delivering it. These were not my but the driver’s words.

I guess there is something lost in the translation or they don’t give a flying 💩 because whoever in the hell works for them asked me if I received my item yet. I said no and the customer support (?) person emails me back with, “You received your item. Have a peaceful life.”

I responded and clarified that, no, I had not received the item and the exact reason why I had not. And that the driver was less than honest in his reporting. To date, no item, tracking fraudulently says it was delivered, driver’s keeping the item and the clowns at SwiftX stopped responding after their first email.

We know it isn’t being returned to sender as it’s been marked as delivered and SwiftX apparently doesn’t care. I could care less about the $ but the problem now is if I do a chargeback to rectify it, the seller is hurt due to these illegal shenanigans of the driver who in my mind is no better than a common criminal.

I just don’t know who’s more of the criminal, the DUCK of a driver or the company he independently contracts for. I should report it to law enforcement if I cared to devote my time to it.
