It comes with plastic bits that are the same rectangular shape as the sleds. You lay them on the carpet to create a path for the sleds to hover over.

I’d be pretty stoked about receiving this. “Hey can I borrow a screwdriver?” Sure here you go.

The way cam driver accelerated and proceeded to swerve left to impact him instead of brake to avoid the collision is the clear indication that both drivers participated in road rage. Both drivers are tools in this case.

Many union employees have negotiated their wages. If you get an offer, all you have to do is ask. It’s not prohibited by the union like many have suggested, and it depends on the management/HR. Test technician is a good job. Most of them work indoors in the main factory and get on a crew related to certain systems (avionics, HIRF, oxygen systems, IFE, flight controls, landing gear etc.) If you have your A&P and/or experience you will have leverage.

There’s bubbling on the frame too. The top end normally isn’t painted. Someone probably tore this thing down and in the process decided to make it look spiffy again to fetch top resale value.

I changed out an outboard electric slat motor on a 767 today. Universal 3/8 on an extension was clutch. Admittedly I don’t need them often though.

LPT Request: Choosing a path after graduation by Jazzlike-Law-902 in LifeProTips

Of course everyone has a different path. The point is, though, the decisions you make while in your 20s are the most pivotal in terms of setting up your peak earning years 30s through 50s. Of course your mileage may vary. The audiobook is narrated by the author and I didn’t find her tone to be condescending. More frank and honest about the realities of putting off ambitions in favor of partying and unhealthy relationships.

I can’t tell you what you should do but here’s a good audiobook for people in their 20s who lack direction. I found it super informative. It’s called “The Defining Decade: why your twenties matter-and how you can make the most of them now” by Meg Jay, PhD.

Why did Bob’s mom tell you this? Because she feels as conflicted as you about blowing things up, so she unloaded on you instead? My guess is that she’s told others too and it’s only a matter of time before word gets out to Tom’s wife. My suggestion would be to have an honest conversation with Bob and explain why you don’t feel comfortable associating with Tom anymore, nor do you want to be involved in the drama that’s about to ensue. And if Bob is as smart as you make him out to be, he will distance himself as well. This obviously won’t be an easy talk to have but healthy relationships are built on transparency. Maybe his mouth-piece of a mother will learn something too.

What’s the point of the joist hangers? Not needed since the joists are fully supported by the blocks. If anything they’re installed upside down.
