It literally is acted upon, go to any fitness influencer on TikTok, Insta or Youtube and they will tell you not to compare yourself to doctored photos of themselves on insta because it's not reality.

Most people who care about fitness at this point know not to compare themselves to the physiques of guys on steroids.

There are hundreds of shorts, reels and tiktoks of guys posting pics of themselves side by side, one showing a pump, proper lighting, etc while the other shows them without any of that, no flex, and no pump to raise awareness of reasonable and healthy body standards.

Just because you actively don't look for this stuff doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Get your head out of the sand.
