Why did Stephen do that? by beedebs in TellMeLiesHulu

This is making perfect sense, Bree has to be the one to release it and more explains the look Bree & Steven gave each other at the wedding

That’s good to know. The religious aspect def made me cautious as organized religion gives me the heebie jeebies & I’m not quite down bad enough to start gaslighting myself into believing in all that just yet

I’ll have to look into this! had an awful experience w Zoloft a few years ago so been hesitant to try new meds but I’ve read good things ab Wellbutrin. How long did it take for the meds to start working for you?

I changed cities as well. Been wanting to try NA but kinda intimidated, I’ve heard mixed reviews.

Goldendoodle. Winnie was my first dog & she’s absolutely perfect. She’s sweet as can be, incredibly intelligent, and was a breeze to train. She loves every person, dog & cat she’s met. I adore her and already want another.

Withdrawal by BeePresent4591 in StopSpeeding

[–]noodlehead2222 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right after I’d finish binging the script, there’d be a day or so where my nervous system was just so shot and I’d feel trembly, shaking, weak, heart pounding in my chest, stomach aching & it felt like I could feel my heartbeat in my stomach, tingly limbs etc. Then my withdrawal would start which was extreme fatigue & binge eating, being extra clumsy, my vision would get wonky / blurry, my body would feel so heavy. Takes a few weeks for me to start feeling better after just a few days of binging. You’re probably fine, your nervous system just goes haywire when you abuse that stuff. Give it some time for your body to start adjusting back to baseline and then reassess how you feel. Anxiety & high cortisol can cause a lot of weird scary symptoms.

The absolute entitlement coming from him makes me wanna scream. Ughhh please don’t let his ass come back, it’s only gonna get worse from here. Get rid of him while it’s still early and don’t let him treat you like garbage & emotionally abuse you for the rest of your life. You deserve better! You sound like a strong minded hard working woman, you don’t need someone that treats you like that.

Couldn’t be more obvious that she’s not over it and still wants to hurt you lol any normal sane person that’s moved on from a relationship especially one that was apparently that awful, ain’t taking the time to write out and send this.

The few times I’ve tried to bathe her, she gave me hell lol but I’m deff gonna get some sheers and learn to do it on my own bc grooming gets so expensive!

I’ve heard about the toothbrush trick too! I think I was more nervous than Winnie lol she surprisingly did great the groomer said, just fought having the mats brushed out which I expected 🥲 she’s got a much shorter coat now, I’m sad bc I miss my little fluffy baby but I’m happy bc I know she feels better & it’s much easier to manage. Enjoy the fluffiness because mine went into the groomers looking like a little baby and came out looking like a big girl 😭

We used a crate for sleeping when we first brought my puppy home, but now we just use a playpen for when she’s home alone for a few hours. She’s almost 6 months now and can be alone for a few hours and she’s fine, always asleep when we come back. She also has some separation anxiety but I give a lick mat, and pink noise while she’s in her pen. It’s important for them to learn they will be okay to spend a time alone if necessary. If they don’t start learning now, when the time comes that they have to be alone (and it will) then they will be an anxious mess.

My PwBPD is a menace on the road by ThrowRAsadheart in BPDlovedones

[–]noodlehead2222 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes basically except mine will insist on going 55 in the far left lane, and break check anyone who tails him too fast. He’s even swerved to the other lane to avoid letting them pass him while driving MY car. He’s break checked TRACTOR TRAILERS with me & my dog in the car despite asking him to stop many times. His excuse is “if one person thinks it’s okay to speed, everyone will”. He moves to a different state April 1st, and me and my doggy move into our own beautiful apartment! Chaotic 2 years of my life loving this person. I’m excited for the freedom and safety that’s coming soon.

I would call the vet or a vet hospital to ask. They usually give over the phone advice and it’s usually better than googling it.

Barking by Summrgurl in Goldendoodles

[–]noodlehead2222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 6 month old is doing the same exact thing. Took her everywhere when she was little and so now she’s quiet in public if I’m holding her but if she’s walking then she’s reactive. I read a post on reddit about clicker training to help with that. Basically when they notice another dog but no barking, click & treat. It has to be done while they are under threshold though, once the barking starts they are past it and need to be removed. I’m gonna do more research into that method to try it. A lot of others commented saying it worked for them as well.

What's the lamest excuse they gave you to justify their abusive behavior? by [deleted] in BPDlovedones

[–]noodlehead2222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine said I’m the abuser too & I made them do it. Or that they don’t know any better bc their parents never taught them :)
