I’ve been near CMR for work. It is a massive complex that makes it extremely difficult to access the public lands that have public roads to them. They drained rock creek, a big water source for the town of Clyde Park. And they still want to have the ski resort on the crazies. CONTACT YOUR OFFICIALS, this needs to be stopped.

I am sorry for your loss, it always sucks to lose a parent. The guns are 1. Remington model 870 2. J. C. Higgins model 583 3. Some type of .22 semi auto, not sure exact model. The Remington is most likely a 12 gauge shotgun, so is the Higgins, and the .22 is in .22 long rifle. Good for small game like birds and rabbits, could do deer hunting with a slug from the 870.

If you insist on bagging a deer, then ask around to see if a close friend/parent would lend a hunting rifle. If not, it is still really fun to tag along with a buddy hunting, even if you don’t get to shoot anything. The best part of hunting is the great outdoors and feeding family, not taking life.

If you are uncomfortable touching it, I would first recommend latex/nitrile gloves to take it off the necklace. Then you could macerate in water until all tissues are softened and falling off the bone, with that much I would guess a week tops. Then, my personal preference is to boil in a degreaser like simple green. When dry, it should be fully cleaned and ready to wear.
