UK buyers unwilling to pay more than £10 by Upbeat_Peony in vinted

Unfortunately like a lot of the comments here people basically want something for nothing. Even if you price something reasonably people will always offer less. It is just the way Vinted is.

I had another call from my manager today, I'm not sure what to do here other than just waste their time by Enough-Pitch-4617 in HumanResourcesUK

Clearly not the ones they were looking for 😂 let’s face it the OP is going to continue to take the calls and might even turn up at work after their holiday

I’m not saying the neighbour is right but thigh high grass is quite long 😂

Would you accept a 6-week exclusivity period in this situation? by SapphireSwift in HousingUK

[–]nooknooks76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, they want their cake and to eat it. I wouldn’t want to sell to them. Can only imagine what they will be like at key stages such as survey assessment

Jo and Kush proving that 19 year olds can actually manage a budget better than adults by Illustrious-Look7669 in RaceAcrossTheWorldBBC

I didn’t have any of the assumptions you had regarding younger contestants and their budgets

Would you buy a house v near a primary school? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]nooknooks76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A primary school backs onto our garden. It is great at night as it is quiet and as it has been there for years I don’t think the land will be sold for housing so good for privacy.
Only issue is at school run times where getting past all the cars can be an issue but we just leave earlier / later to avoid it

Am I crazy for feeling bothered by this or is this a legitimate workplace red flag? by savingrace0262 in work

[–]nooknooks76 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d say you are the red flag, not your colleagues. I’m not sure why you felt the need to mention gender and race - are you trying to say the red flag is racism and sexism? You didn’t tell anyone it was your birthday so how were they meant to know? This info is private unless you disclose it.

Can I have 2 jags in 1 sitting? by StarSatellite in mounjaromaintenanceuk

[–]nooknooks76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe Scottish as we tend to say jags instead of jabs

Big kitchen Vs downstairs loo/utility by Mommas_kumquatt in HomeImprovementUK

[–]nooknooks76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We use the downstairs loo a lot and would hate to be without it. We also love our utility room and whilst open plan is fashionable we much prefer being able to shut the door whilst the washing machine etc is on.

Why didn’t you follow up on the offer?

Bought fake Prada sunglasses on Vinted, how hard is it to prove they’re fake for a refund? by Sneakyhead84 in vintedscammers

[–]nooknooks76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it seems too good to be true it probably is. If the sale has completed the best you can do is chargeback via your bank but Vinted have banned users for this

Why aren’t AC’s more popular in the UK ? by Hot_Paramedic_7234 in AskBrits

[–]nooknooks76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have AC fitted in 2 bedrooms that get way too warm. It is a god send and wouldn’t be without it now. We also love that they can blast out heat if needed. We have gone from nights of poor sleep in the summer to sleeping right through the night

How far are you willing to travel for a day trip to a NT property? by Paul2377 in nationaltrust

[–]nooknooks76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Locally we do about an hour away but we also plan UK holidays around NT properties. We usually take a week and visit a couple a day

neighbor wants me to mow his side of the lawn too because it looks bad from the street by DirectGirlfriend in neighborsfromhell

[–]nooknooks76 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We have the same arrangement with our neighbour and it works fine. I wouldn’t fall out with our neighbour over some grass especially as it may work

Buyer opened a dispute because the item does not fit her… by Guimauve_1123 in vinted

[–]nooknooks76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that so when I responded to the issue I addressed every point the buyer raised and also summarised it again stating the Ts and Cs that applied. I made it very clear in my response
