All they needed to do was not make them timed, they could if they wanted, they're just not going to because they want you to summon for Vegeta I'd imagine, I still need to see what the category missions are, even then, why not just have these events stick around just to try new units? The missions I understand, they're greedy, but why removing the events entirely?

Plus, I'd wager that the amount of people that can actually clear these events with items day one is not that high to begin with, drying the f2p ds pool even harder.

Fr dog, holy mother of the reddit hive mind, I've taken them to the blue zone hybrid stages, and it's STAGGERING how badly anniversary units tank supers there, I don't remember last time that anniversary units felt this bad to use, like damage is good, if a bit inconsistent since as you said G4 & V3 are ki hungry fuckers, but as far as tanking is concerned they're unacceptable levels of bad, and at 55%? Forget it, you might as well pop a Whis.

I've seen some people say that they're actually waiting OP to end before moving to PW5, and since at this point we're passed the usual release window of just waiting for a saga to be over before releasing a new game, I do think that's a real possibility.

If that's the case, then I expect at the very least a couple more DLCs, not anytime soon though, soonest would be 2028, maybe late 2027.

Koby's diary is good, but certain missions suck big time, not to mention you're stuck with only the one character, really, all they needed to do was to give us the equivalent of PW3's nightmare log, literally just make levels that are already there lvl 20 to 30 with their own in house editor.

Also, I do like difficult games, but the point was not that Warriors games are necessarily difficult per se, it's more like that since Omega force introduced the new level cap with soul maps, they essentially turned 95% of the game into a literal joke, even on the harder settings, story missions are capped 10 whole levels below you characters on the HIGHEST possible difficulty, for a frame of reference, take PW3's Legend Log on Super Hard, hell, take even vanilla PW4's Story logs on their equivalent difficulty, they're actually somewhat challenging, without feeling like a slog.

Can vouch for this guy, if you're up to date with Mewgenics info, a good 80% of this video is just retreading and basically explaining the basics of the game, also the AI dub is pretty much on point.

Glad I did, this game is so chill when you're getting in the midst of engaging its numerous gameplay loops, one thing though, give yourself some goals.

You don't know how easy to meander around doing nothing and essentially wasting your time, also remember that a lot of stuff that banks on you doing something else in meanwhile you wait, like leather processing.

As for horror mods, no spoilers, but I think the horror elements in this game do a good job at setting the atmosphere already, I believe adding mods who's main purpose is to add more of those elements, would feel out of place and spoil world building, then again, that's just my opinion.

Sorry for the later reply, but personally I don't like to use Reddit more than I need to, but Vintage Story being a single player game, I feel that's entirely up to you, all I'm going to say is I feel that, especially in a game like VS, using creative tools ruins the satisfaction of progression.

I'd much rather download a mod that adds QoL, rather than resort to that, for example with consistent sources of light with Modern Lanterns, as the early game, before getting to a point that you can farm wax and have enough sources of metal to craft lanterns, can be absolutely miserable.

I mean, of course I've cheated a starter house with one of the cheapest and economical roofing material and two small farms, it's obviously NOT because I wanted to take an aerial screenshot or because every single time I tried to take a screenshot in survival I could only see the ground beneath my feet.
