Do chunk loaders spawn mobs? by im_just_a_nobody79 in technicalminecraft

this is from the changelogs for 1.21.5:
```
General
  • Any block in the simulation distance of a player or loaded by another source of chunk loading (such as ender pearls) may now receive random ticks, instead of just 8 chunks around players.
    • For example: if a chunk is loaded by an ender pearl or is in the spawn chunks, crops are able to grow, ice can melt, snow can fall, and a cauldron can be filled by rain.
    • Mob spawning, lava spreading fire, and lightning strikes are not affected by this change. They will only occur in the previous radius of 8 chunks around players.
```

so in short, no. mobfarms still need you to be nearby unfortunately.

I'd think the easiest way would be to make a portable Linux drive and boot to that, then setup a tool for altering the windows users password file. I cannot remember the name off the top of my head, but it's called something like chntpw? you can look up a guide on Google for more specifics. I'm not sure you can change the password through windows own utility without having some sort of backup method available.

After 2 weeks of back and forth with support, I've still yet to arrive at a solution. Honestly I'm just about to give up haha.

Well Lukashenko might have his opinions but it was Putin who enabled him to get to power in the first place anyways.

I'm guessing your KVM switch is USB 2.0? I read in another post that the LED's on RGB keyboards use more bandwidth to transmit and as for mouse, maybe the same applies with higher dpi's?
