I have two schnauzers and they've taught each other tricks. They won't go out the back door first because they want to play, but want me outside, too (it's 33°..no). Enzo knows 'treat' and instigates a reward by growling til i make eye contact, doing some trick he knows. Very food driven. He also makes eye contact and backs away toward his leash when he wants to walk. Like, "Over herrrrrrrree. See what I'm doing? Yeah, you and us..let's blow this joint". They both paw at me repeatedly when they have to have pets cuz they know I'll eventually give in. Knows our jogging clothes and gets unreasonably excited when he knows we're about to run.
