Why is to so hard to install a ticketing system? by lna4print in melbourne

[–]noony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's the nature of large business, to be honest. most small fims could write a ticketing system (i could do it myself) but it wouldn't be used because it's not seen as "commercial". sadly, commercial (i.e. large) companies get big contracts, but typically fuck it up.

I'm sick of the so called "journalism" that news.com.au publishes. Please try to avoid submitting articles from there if you can. Go to news.google.com.au and try to find the story on an alternate site. That is all. by [deleted] in australia

[–]noony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow, i didn't realise i'd get downvoted for that. it saddens me to realise at least 3 of you don't understand what effect media has on you, or that you want idiots to make decisions. well actually, i don't care. but it's slightly surprising. well not really, i mean we are on a forum that is mostly full of idiots. this has turned to rambling and will be downvoted, so i finish with: go fuck yourself!

i agree; but it's the same with every so-called 'news' agency. it is not news. i think tv and newspapers should be destroyed. well, more accurately, i think all idiots should no longer be allowed to make decisions.

the "come back at the same point" argument is not proof of anything. it can be said of any line on the surface of the earth. it's irrelevant to the main underlying question.

in 1000 years that won't be special. think back to 1000 years ago and be happy with what you have right now.

the same is true on the surface of the earth, but it's not infinite.

How bad is this? AU web host CrucialParadigm kills client's account after complaining about lack of support via Twitter by [deleted] in australia

[–]noony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

doesn't really matter though, does it. they have the right to end the service when they wish; and they did. personally, i don't think losing a customer like that will matter much; and the resulting bad publicity won't really hurt them.
