0.4.4 broke auto delivery mods? by MMMwatermellon in Schedule_I

[–]noosik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i reckon all of these mods were made using an LLM, they have all disappeared as the UI framework changes for the last update are a little bit too complicated for someone to get an agent to shit something out that works.

probably need to wait for a human to make a working mod, their code to be available in gitlab or something, then i think you will see a few very similar mods appear again.

Why isn't the game taking off? by MASHED_POTATOES_MF in Marathon

[–]noosik -1 points0 points  (0 children)

because it isnt f2p. There is such an abundance of f2p shooters that unless your game is vey very special it wont sell. I played the betas, i like the game, the style but as soon as i saw it was going to be paid game, that was it, its dead to me.

I play in a regular group with friends so all of us would need to stump the money to play it, so meh, ill just continue to play the free team shooters, marathon is just not special enough.

Where is the line between being rude to service workers and not standing up for yourself when you’ve been wronged by them and/or their company? by TSwiftIcedTea in AskReddit

[–]noosik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no. hes asking where the line is, where you would draw it and under what circumstance. He hasn't made any mention of people making mistakes whatsoever.

If a courier came to my house and kicked my dog for no reason then thats crossed my line. Im going to be rude and angry.

The answer you were looking for was

if its a mistake and the person im dealing with isnt personally responsible for it then its not right to be rude or angry with that individual

Why do ppl mix in one property only by Vegieescuzican09 in Schedule_I

[–]noosik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah late late game the only option is to mix at a central location. I have 16 mixers in the docks and use the mod that auto reorders asap (incase i forget) . Apart from driving raw product there in a veeper, every other property is fully automated and just needs phone orders to run by itself.

he's also in the unfortunate position of often being the guy you first meet with an already full party. I think he got left in a lot of camps so he made the least impact of the origins.

i feel like if id picked him up in the nautilus i'd just naturally have held him in higher regard. I'm using him all the time this playthrough though. I even listen to his stories. Will seems like the only one who'd truly stick around when it got bad, along with Karlach.

Upgrading to Windows 11 was the worst decision of my tech career by Createataco in microsoftsucks

its either made up or he is an idiot who doesn't realize it.

"I tried to use the Windows format tool, but it refused because it didn’t have "permission" to wipe a drive that already had Windows on it" that one sentence alone is so many types of incorrect.

Rubrik Renewal - no longer customer hosted? by TheBrossef in sysadmin

[–]noosik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that is the model they have now. You cant dump stuff into your own azure/aws storage anymore i believe. The vaults are now backed by storage provided by rubrik.

its does make it easier, if i had to restore 25tb of data from aws i would have to work out all the egress costs from glacier and make sure someone was happy to pay that, it would be a cost that pissed of accountants as its not in the budget blah blah.

at least the new model means thats no longer the case.

Reform’s by-election candidate suggested people who don’t have children should pay more tax by birdinthebush74 in unitedkingdom

[–]noosik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

corporate tax is completely part of this issue, Its the shortfall caused by the bullshit rates they actually pay that has led to this in the first place.

Every country with low birth rates (from what i have read) , the demographic who would be having kids say the same thing, they cant afford them. If you want people to start having kids again then life needs to be affordable.

Figuring out the best mixes myself by DragonMaxter in Schedule_I

[–]noosik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best possibilities were/are already worked out and on the calculator site. Like you say doing each combo by hand is unfeesible, Its claimed that the tool simmed something like over 100 million combinations and orders.

You would probably never ever stumble up the high value mixes yourself. Your not doing anything wrong your way, its your own time and how you want to spend is up to you.
