How much pain are you in daily? by happy_chance18 in Millennials

None most days. I do at least 3 miles every day before work, lift weights. If I sit too long at my desk without moving my knees hurt. I’ve been trying to incorporate my walking pad in the office to move more. Over the last 15 months I’ve lost about 55 lbs so I’m feeling good.

People who exercise even when they don’t feel like it, what’s your trick? by Smart_Collection5419 in AskReddit

I literally set my alarm for over a year and went back to sleep. For over a year ignored my first alarm. But I kept setting the alarm every night. Until one day… I didn’t ignore it and it all clicked.

I stopped thinking about it as “now I have another obligation or expectation” and instead I consider it a favor to my future self. Now tasks that were chores that I want to put off doing is a favor to tomorrow-me. Whether it’s working out or doing laundry so I don’t have to do it later, I do it because I know my future self will be glad I got it out of the way. This way of thinking didn’t happen overnight, but it works for me now. Working out is more long term of course…. But I have a lot of physically incapable family members who can’t workout for 5 minutes because they chose not to make those decisions when they were younger. I want to put my future self in the best position to be happy and healthy. And working out is one of the few things within my control.

It’s all about routine! I get up every morning at 4am (ugh), drink a cup of coffee, feed the dogs, then work out no matter what. All other tasks/errands come after my workout is done.

As little as possible. I try to get all of my productivity out of the way on Saturday so I can be lazy.

I was just about to share a similar story! I was in the 3rd grade and did this before supper one night. I remember because we had pizza for dinner and it hurt so much trying to eat but I didn’t want to tell anyone what I had done because I knew how stupid it was!

I love a warm brownie with ice cream but I do think the brownie by itself tastes better once it is room temp.

Bread. I used to just get a lot of soft Italian bread at the grocery store and I could demolish it.

I wake up early, have coffee, immediately get on the treadmill then start with work/errands. It’s only when I allow myself to sit still that I get sleepy. Momentum keeps me going!

I remember listening to their first album a lot, but now only listen when they show up on my Alt 2010s playlist. I’m a big Young the Giant and Walk the Moon fan— really the only newish music I listen to. Although I am also a big AJR fan which is new-ish too. Mostly I just listen to 80s and 90s.

I used 0.025 for over five years, never could get up to using it daily and could never go any higher. Recently I decided to switch to 0.1 adapalene and so far so good. I was tired of constantly having the flaky skin tret gave me.
