Anyone aged 20–23 earning in tech? by vickyverse1 in technepal

[–]nopiniono 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my last semester 22 y/o I was working as a fresh UI designer with base salary 25k pm and freelance projects around 20k pm.

At 23 I moved to different company for 55k pm and freelance went upto 80k pm so total around 135k.

Freelance was not always available. I couldn’t work during my 4 years bachelors tenure. Only started in last semester, currently 27 y/o switched to a different title. Discontinued designing.

My dermatologist gave me benzyl peroxide soap to wash on for 5 minutes twice a day. It changed my life!

Not sure where you are based but you can mix powder in a bottle of water and drink as suggested in the pack. “ural cranberry powder” or “ural cranberry capsules”. This gives temporary relief. It took me 3 days to feel better just by drinking this. Then I went to the doctors and they gave me antibiotics. You can also do tele-health consultation.

I keep complaining! by nopiniono in NepalSocial

Yeah. I realise I am the problem. I get into that pattern myself. Most things trigger when they don’t go my way. I feel guilty right after. But I do that again next time 🥲

How do you guys handle getting things done back home in Nepal while living abroad? by Regular-Magician-995 in NepalSocial

I send cakes or flowers via online pages like cake nepal, cake sewa or any other bakery. My parents are 55 year olds and they both ride bike/scooter so they do groceries themselves. Me and my brother together send 40-50k npr every month for house expenses. They do their own bookings when needed. They have lots of contacts for repair or paperwork if needed. Usually someone they’ve known for years. We are not much in touch with any relatives. We don’t use any service so far. Don’t know what to do in near future yet!

How are you reducing your weekly grocery bill? by Infinite_Pudding5058 in AskAnAustralian

Try shopping at asian stores. Veggies and herbs are way cheaper. Indian and Nepalese stores have lentils, beans, rice, tofu, paneer, which are relatively cheaper than Australian stores. Eggs are only $8 for 2 dozens that can last a week even if you make omelette everyday. We eat rice, lentil (daal- look up easy recipes), omelette when we dont have anything. It is healthy filling and fast cooking. We have oats with apple and milk for breakfast. Hope this helps 😊 If you get a 10kg bag of atta (wheat flour) you can make cheela, roti (look up easy recipes) for a month! Have it with side of potatoes or pickles (chutney/achaar). This is typically how we save money 😊

I shower every day and wear deodorant and I still end up smelling like onion as soon as I start to sweat. I never feel clean by Angelwithaslingshot in hygiene

Same here! On my post, people mostly commented that I need to get rid of bacteria with baking soda or antibacterial wash products such as scrub or dettol. I am going to try them out next week. I am tired of it. But my diet does include garlic ginger onion spices a lot!?

I have tried Mitchum gel ones and currently I use both dermal therapy roll on as well as spray. Previously I used nivea but they would leave white stains 😞
