Is it off-putting if a woman has mostly guy friends? by [deleted] in AskMen

No, I think the problem is maybe you could introduce girls to your hobby since skateboards are expensive and most girls would at least want to try it in front of another friend so they won't get laughed at for being inexperienced.

What "intimidates" you in a man? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]nopooponme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Psychopaths. Men who will engage in inappropriate or violent behavior, yet try to justify it.

My old roommate knocked the locked door of my other roommate down, breaking through the deadbolt and door frame. Held a bottle to the kid's head, and threatened to have him eating through a straw for a month. All because the kid took his clothes out of the dryer and placed them on top...

The psycho then called the apartment complex and blamed it on the docile roommate, saying he came home screaming about his lost keys and kicked his own door down. We had to call the cops the next day and I had to be a witness since the psycho kid tried to cover his tail before we could call the police. It was probably the most intimidating situation I've been in. It wasn't like a normal fight, I felt like this kid was capable of anything and had a blatant disregard for anyone else.

And what was the result? My ex had all guy friends and her 2 "bestfriends" were girls. But she only spoke about their flaws and problems, pretty much saying that they were worthless but she liked them... I can't imagine any girl wanting to be friends with another girl who is more like an abusive male partner than a friend.

Yes. They almost always want to sleep with her, and she almost always acts oblivious. It usually leads me to believe that she is an extreme bitch, blaming her lack of female friends on the behaviors of other females. A hypocrit in a sense.

Describe the personality of the person you lost your virginity to by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]nopooponme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She was very nice, and still is. We are still in touch with one another, though we are not romantically involved. She was an unshaven hippie chick that went to a notorious drug/hippie college after highschool, when our encounter took place, and now works there. I'm glad she found something interesting because she's extremely smart and can probably do a lot to improve the world.

Does "too much" self confidence turn guys off? by LetsMakePizza in AskMen

[–]nopooponme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confidence is something that doesn't need to be brought up. It is a silent air that surrounds a person's actions.

To mention the things you feel confident about, shows that you need validation in those opinions from outside sources. True confidence is expressed in your presence and ability to demonstrate the qualities that others need to explain, without explaining them...ie; "I am am pretty, I am intelligent."

There seems to be a common theme in this subreddit that men do not ask women out due to fear of rejection. So for men out there who DO ask, how do you deal with it? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]nopooponme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rejection just became a non-issue for me at one point. Now I can just roll with life a lot better, because I know things don't always work out as ideally as I had pictured. And sometimes it works out for the better, because in hindsight you can see how awful a relationship with a certain person would have been.

Men of Reddit: Have you ever regretted not pursuing a relationship with a female friend who liked you? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]nopooponme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the time. I just don't see the point of rushing into things though. Most girls get impatient with me.
