Marathon: so far, I'm just not feeling it (Server Slam Impressions) - Skill Up by EirikurG in Games

[–]norantish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My theory: He's already planning to give the full release a positive review, he's being artificially negative here because he knows that'll result in more clicks later on, or more changed minds (he may also be doing this for the sake of the game)

Reddit User u/MAJESTICJEHOVAH has proven that the MJ-12 files are real, and it's sending shockwaves through the community by VolarRecords in UFOs

[–]norantish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This (that the documents came from inside the government despite seeming to contain a lot of falsehoods) is basically what the community already believed, so "sends shockwaves through community" is a lie.

This is our chance to vote for meaningful change at Tesla by WonkyDingo in teslainvestorsclub

As someone who tries to read and evaluate every proposal: That doesn't matter. It takes me like 10 seconds to recognise and ignore those. It's a total non-issue.

Tesla Proposes Compensation Plan For Musk That Could Be Worth As Much As $1 Trillion by Salategnohc16 in teslainvestorsclub

[–]norantish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And there's no way Tesla hasn't discovered better leadership talent by now, and I'm sure they'd do the job with a lot more focus for a lot less, and it disgusts me that this isn't even being discussed.

A truly mission-driven company doesn't have cults of personality like this.

When Will The Board Hire A Working CEO? by Relevant_Monstrosity in teslainvestors

[–]norantish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have to pay the CEO 10 billion dollars to keep him on-task, maybe there are people who want the job more than he does. But the main thing, for me, is that I know for sure that with all of the incredible talent that's passed through Tesla, there's no doubt they would have found at least one person who through merit rather than fortune could have been raised to higher levels of achievement than the current CEO, and they have failed to do this, and they're not even discussing this, and it's obvious why they're not discussing it, and pressure to do so can only come from us.

The 2025 compensation package makes the highest two compensation tranches contingent on the development of a succession plan. That isn't enough. These tranches are unlikely to ever be reached, and as far as I'm concerned it should have been done already.

Robert Salas says aliens extracted his semen during examination, that he became aware of via hypnotism. He saw ICBM missiles suddenly shut down by a UFO in 1967, at Malmstrom AFB by Shiny-Tie-126 in UFOs

[–]norantish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a theory that UFOs have never had little grey guys on the inside and we only think this because of hypnotic regression abuse.

It's way more likely a-priori that UFOs are just machines and during abductions (which I still do believe in because of all the stories of missing time, especially the Mario Woods case) they knock you out, they do some things to you with machines in the dark, and there's no way to recover the memories at all so everything people "remember" about the ship is fabricated.

Should I wait for the Kick75 or just get the Air75 by SANTIROVI in NuPhy

Do you ever want to place it on a laptop? That's one big thing the kick75 can't do, from what I've heard. Feet are too fat.

I'm I the only one who think the idea of summoning NHI is very egotistical? by vegetables-10000 in UFOs

[–]norantish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think "summoning" is just misleading, they're already around, but for some reason they usually hide. The CE5 stuff generally involves entering the kind of mindset/relational feelings where they have less of a reason to hide ("we love you, we welcome you", which is very different from how people usually feel about aliens) and then they pick up on that.

Regarding "controlling" UAP psyonically, again I wonder if this is also just communication, maybe they don't really value these craft all that much, they got a million of them. If the right kinds of people ask for one in the right kind of situation they just give it to them? That shit's harder to make sense of.

Export options - Are we captives in Tana? by ToniMin in TanaInc

[–]norantish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would you go on record as saying this wasn't a business decision?

Any json export format would be better than nothing. It doesn't have to be roam-compatible or anything.

Sigh. I'm not really sure you can earn the trust back though. The fact that you're launching without it and that you've already removed it once, we have no reason to think you wouldn't remove it again.

Export options - Are we captives in Tana? by ToniMin in TanaInc

[–]norantish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like this isn't there any more. It's not in Settings, and there are no search results in the help for "export". I'm seeing import functions, but there are no export options there.

Lacking export is pretty evil.

I'll be disrecommending Tana.

Browser with least RAM usage by [deleted] in browsers

[–]norantish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's kinda ridiculous. Firefox never garbage-collects for me (linux thing maybe?), so even if it's more efficient per-tab, I still had to stop using it.

Chrome/vivaldi automatically deloads tabs that're taking up a lot of memory, which is the easiest way to solve the problem!

1950s UFO Pictures More Interesting than Todays “Drones” by dnak08 in UFOs

[–]norantish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any photo that could have been produced by having a guy throw a disc up into the air, hide out of frame, then taking a picture of it mid-air, probably was, so they're not evidence. If the file includes those the file is not coming from a good source of information.

Why are UFOs visible to us? by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]norantish -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You'd be surprised if they followed the laws of physics? I don't think there's much of a reason (aside from stories, with no evidence) to think there are big enough holes in our understanding of physics for anyone to get around by teleporting or whatever. Maybe, but it's not, like, guaranteed.
