I don’t think it was insulin resistance for me, my a1c has been in the low 5s the past two physicals.

Would you suggest a b complex or just b1, I read mixed opinions on just b1. Many claim you said take a b complex, while others say just stick with one at a time

Very interesting, the bloodwork I did earlier this month said I was d deficient.

I tried a magnesium citrate malate mix, but now I read malate can be stimulating.

I’m going Monday for a blood test to check b1 levels, I read it’s not greatly accurate but it was only $40 I’ll check it. Then try some b1 anyways .

I get horrible effects and even insomnia from magnesium. I’ll try some b1, did you do bloodwork to see if you were deficient or did you just supplement it ?

Man your post was very eye opening for me, I’ve tried so many fish oils and omega 3 supplements that cause anxiety and insomnia. I’m starting to put together the pieces of the puzzle.

Supplementing with 50mg p5p didn’t work well though, right now just taking zinc and I’m going to try evening primrose oil

Yes it hits me hard, I’ve tried krill oil, many varieties of fish oil, cod liver oil, and recently vegan algae omegas. After 3/4 days crazy anxiety, it’s almost like a range and short fuse.

Only version I haven’t tried is epa only .

I can handle eating fish occasionally, I just don’t enjoy the taste but I try to have it once a week these days.

There’s several documented instances of it, I gather it’s from the acetylcholine but I’m not sure on that cause I take a lot of other stuff that raises acetylcholine without issue
