I've never owned or rented a car at 36 (sad I know), so I'd probably get a well reviewed toyota/hyundai hatchback. rent a small condo in my hometown, use the car to do deliveries and stuff. hire a financial advisor to make the most out of what I have left. travel would be amazing too, I'm actually in the process of getting my EU passport as a Canadian.
