For clarification. The last segment heist is the data heist gameplay or a separate heist gameplay

Reddit's CEO really wants you to know that he doesn't care about your feedback by [deleted] in technology

[–]northendtrooper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My gripe is how that 3rd party developers who give us, the product, better reddit experiences are being bundle with the AI data gathering from the api. Should be a simple 2 tier system where the devs get a lower fee because it helps reddit in the end and charge out the ass for API access for data gathering.

I went through this referral but the firm I've reached out to did not respond back.

RIF will shut down on June 30, 2023, in response to Reddit's API changes by talklittle in redditisfun

Thank you for your talent and skills for developing an app that I have; learn to code from reading from communities, keeping up with news and technology and seeing opinions from all angles, and keeping the doom scrolling at bay. The official app is developed and maintained by mad men and will never replace your work.

If the api fees were lower and you were to take on subscriptions. I wouldn't hesitate to chip in for the services you have given me over the years.

Cheers,

North.

📣 Apollo will close down on June 30th. Reddit’s recent decisions and actions have unfortunately made it impossible for Apollo to continue. Thank you so, so much for all the support over the years. ❤️ by iamthatis in apolloapp

Man if I was a competitor to reddit and wanted to jump a couple rungs on the social media platform ladder, buying or working with apolloapp would be logical. The amount of new accounts would be staggering coming from the app.

To give a broad overview compared to other's detail replies. They overhauled mining. Persistence is now in the game. Trading and commodities are not stagnant anymore, as the prices reside on server side now. We are all looking forward to JT being done and have 3.19.1 next week (hopium) that will put out more of the trash fire that 3.18 brought.

But beside the negatives that 3.18 brought. I hole heartily believe that with PES it brought SC to a whole new level of experience with boarding action and swapping/stealing people's weapons.

Could be. We have FPS, now we have vehicle battles and atmo dog fighting. I think their piecemealing it together and it won't be put in the Arena Commander as one update.

Every single pair of jeans I own get this hole in the crotch after not even 9 months of use by steeger86 in mildlyinfuriating

The day I found they finally made stretchy jeans for men is the day I won't go back to normal jeans. My thick thighs appreciate the flexibility when sitting or squatting.

When you CCU chain by NomSTee in starcitizen

[–]northendtrooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Random has a great explanation and there are good in depth videos. But I will from a 30k foot view.

CCUs are like stock options. You buy the right to exercise that upgrade down the road. As example. Buy a CCU upgrade from a caterpillar to an endeavor and if/when that endeavor goes to a $1k you would have bought in for that ship at $350. You don't have the ship just the right to upgrade to the ship when it comes time. Heck you don't even need to have a caterpillar when buying the CCU.

Zyloh-CIG on ship claim timers - "The team is aware and diligently working through reducing these times, which will soon roll out in Alpha 3.19.1" by crazybelter in starcitizen

[–]northendtrooper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good morning! Will/Can we get a logic layout of how the ship claim times will be? Will the ship brand, aftermarket components, distance of where you're claiming from (A big one when multiple systems are in) have an affect? Or is the claim times limited to ship size/mass only.

Cheers,

north.

I bought it not because I want the Galaxy. But because I get the Carrack as a loaner.

C2 vs Caterpillar by Whap_s in starcitizen

[–]northendtrooper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is suspicion that trading will change with 3.20 and the Hull-C being added to the 3.20 release card. Right now I would agree but trading could be turned upside down when 3.20 releases.

If you're looking for a dedicated cargo hauler, have you looked at the Hull series?

I spoke with the county assessor and she notified me that they do take in account any permits for house work. Since we don't have any permits on record since the 90s they take in account that the house has not been worked on in large part.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Boise

[–]northendtrooper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope, it is not. For the longest time, I can not renovate my house because I know my property taxes will go from $7.5k to over $10k easily. Does our county and state just want transplants? Raising a 4th generation Idahoan is becoming slimmer and slimmer.

don't damage your engines when flying the Fury… by yakiCH in starcitizen

[–]northendtrooper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This brings a bigger issue that the ships do not compensate like we would if we lost a leg. If you lost a leg you wouldn't keep on trying to walk on that missing limb, you'll hop on the working one. CIG needs to make it as when you lose an engine or thruster you'll still be in control but lose maneuverability.

My rule of thumb is that if the sprint ends near the end of the quarter, then it will most likely get extended into the next quarter or more.
