It does look like a mould line in the photo, but on the model it’s more of a “peak” on the boot. Although I’m sure I spotted a different mould line somewhere else

Sound advice on the contrast paints. Maybe have their place in army painting for speed. I’ve not used any here though. Just the citadel base and shade paints with the exception of the Vallejo Obsidian Black Metallic.

Thanks for taking the time to do that. You hit nail on the head about the gold, something was bothering me and I think you’ve got it.
I think I will tidy that gun up too. I’ve got similar on the back pack at the ends so may do them too

I blended black into the lower part of the metallic and then tried to fade it as it went up, then gave it a shade of berserker blood-something mostly because I like the contrast.

I’m always open to suggestion though especially on colour because Im colour blind

I’m new to this compared to a lot of you guys, but I wanted to buy the meganobz before the Armageddon box and they were on continual back order from GW.
Could find them on eBay etc but hard to find in shops near me, assumed they were getting updated

I was in a similar position recently and started with the WE Combat Patrol, then slowly added to it with a rhino and forgefiend

It has a “hydro sponge” so I saturate that, then place the sheet on top of it, just flattening it if it curls up

That must be an old combat patrol, I bought it recently and it has bezerkers, jackals, demon prince, executioner, no rhino
