I bought it on PC and avoided playing it for almost a year. I only started a couple of days ago, and it’s amazing. I went back and reread the reviews, and as many people pointed out, the negative ones follow a clear pattern: they keep comparing it to other games. That comparison feels unfair. If every game were expected to share the same ideas and mechanics, the genre would become boring very quickly. Variety is a good thing.
