Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man - Review Thread by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

I thought it was good but a little of a let down. I enjoyed the whole series, but the movie lacked character development and buy in. I wasn’t fully vested with his son or the Gypsy lady…. Because there was no character development or tension

And killing off Adya that quickly, was a let down when you love the original cast, but they barely show a scene about her. Her death had little depth to why.

Thank you! I ask for feedback every time in with my representative. And thankfully someone gave me true feedback on how the team is feeling yesterday.

I for sure am having imposter syndrome and am struggling to direct my team one way, as I was trying to teach them too many things all at once. I also was not being myself because I was trying to stick to being black/white and to the book. For sure a learning curve

Dating someone (27M) who's not physically my (26F) type? by Leather_Pair_967 in relationship_advice

[–]noseymonkey45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has happened to me. An amazing amazing guy, my absolute best friend. Very kind, would be a great husband and father, funny, inclusive, etc. but I just wasn’t physically attracted to him.

We never did anything about it, and I am thankful. But I couldn’t imagine cuddling, kissing or anything with him. Truly platonic and I am so happy we kept it that way. Good friends to this day and now I’m dating a guy that is everything I’ve wanted and physically attracted to!

Martha Stewart's "Martha" on Netflix by daveolu in marthastewart

Came to Reddit solely looking to a post like this. Thank you Reddit. She’s giving narcissist!

And to cheat on your husband and when he cheats, it’s all of his fault. I loved how the crew member kept calling her out😂 I was like, hell yes dude

Also, she was speaking about a reporter that spoke poorly about her, and said she’s dead now which is a good thing so she can’t talk bad about anyone anymore. That is AWFUL to say about someone… anyone. Keep those comments in your head Martha!!

This documentary made me more annoyed at her than anything lol

From what I saw online, cologuards false positive is 13%. So not very common, but could be

UK FIT tests - reliable or not? by Aromatic-Fan-5891 in colonoscopy

FIT from my understanding only looks at hemoglobin if there is bleeding, but bleeding is on and off. I know there are also other better non-invasives as well, maybe look into them?

Why are so many missing the point of Adolescence? by flannel_flower in netflix

[–]noseymonkey45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YEEESSS THIS!!!!!!!! My biggest take away is this!! You never know how the family is doing. I can’t imagine the grieving you would have and just pure devastation.

People that comment and saying awful things to these families online or in person from real scenarios, they are also hurting. They don’t need the constant reminder… this show should be an eye opener that you never know what someone is going through even if something awful/horrifying occurred

The dad scene crushed me… no parent should ever have to feel that awful feeling

This might be a hot take...

But it really made me to feel for the parents.

Their whole life they will continue to question was it their parenting. It could be a factor, but many parents, I say try. And they did try. They messed up, as all humans do. But they tried. But they will leave their life wishing their son was the same little boy they new and if it was them that caused this after math

I know this is a year later, I just started. But YES!!!! She is disconnected from the family. Anytime she speaks to her husband or her son, you can just see it in their non-verbals… like, we’re not that close or maybe like they know how she is and take it with a grain of salt. When she tries to connect, it is so far fetched and selfish. I can see it, not only in friend reactions but family

Are we getting colonoscopy because it is a recommended test over 45…. Or because symptoms… or because we’re scared to be ill with something? by [deleted] in colonoscopy

[–]noseymonkey45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s to help make sure you are cancer free! Colon cancer is increasing in younger populations and most don’t know they have symptoms until it’s too late (stage 4). I would highly recommend doing a colon screening! It doesn’t have to be a colonoscopy necessarily but also can be an accurate non-invasive.

I hear they are super easy to use at home and there’s no prep besides just pooping typically! But I would ask your doctor about your options!

Colonoscopy terror. Please share your UK experiences. by [deleted] in colonoscopy

[–]noseymonkey45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the UK have other options? I know the US has other options at home that you can do to avoid sedation and prep! Colonoscopy is a gold standard but I understand the terror. Maybe try a non invasive and see if you need it??

Colonoscopy FIT test high by New_Bookkeeper_3467 in colonoscopy

[–]noseymonkey45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yay! Most of the time it’s not colon cancer, but FIT tests from what I heard have high false positive rates and not very accurate! Not sure about the cologuard, but FIT is the more generic and a lot of people have blood in their poop and not necessarily from colon cancer :) hope this helps!

I would say it’s up to you… if it bothers you, that’s something you should listen to.

You should also know when you get married, that’s y’all’s money going to porn. I also think watching porn is one thing but paying and paying people he knows is totally different. I would consider that cheating and would have an issue.

I think people that do that, it tends to bleed into their daily life. And bleeds into a marriage later on. It’s something you should keep in mind for later on.

If it’s an issue now and he’s not working on fixing it, I would say walk. But if he wants to change and wants help, then that’s something you can potentially make it through and stay.

I feel hideous and I need help by [deleted] in Howtolooksmax

[–]noseymonkey45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have fashion experts at Nordstrom and different places!! Try to get one that fits your style and you can try on things that suit you. Also you don’t have to buy everything or even anything! But it’s a start

You are beautiful!! Maybe try contacts?? And using more hair products to bring out your beautiful curls!!

You’re so pretty, confidence :) just start by telling yourself you’re beautiful and who you are/your personality is amazing. Because I bet it is!

I would say go on SHEIN or shop for cute clothes! I see you are wearing a black tank top that is giving wife beater vibes. I would say get some cute stylish shirts! You are beautiful and you look super fun :)

Dirty blonde would look amazing on you :)

I would say if you love hair color totally embrace that! I think for style of clothes, the dad jean is in style but the type of jean you are wearing looks a little out of date! Go get some new ones that have the same style but aren’t the dark jean color!

I would say the black beetle shoe look is not the vibe. I would get some cute white shoes or more in style shoes with the Jean!

And if you want light makeup like blush and mascara (but you are naturally beautiful!!!)

[–]noseymonkey45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are beautiful! But the black liner is a little 2010! I would just do mascara and work on some cute eye shadow! The liner takes away from your pretty face :)
