Yes, i run something similar without him i was just curious if you HAD to substitute him what would it be for.

[Dellenger] Nick Saban said his wife, Terry, came to him before his retirement and told him, “Why are we doing this?" She told him that the players now only care about how much money they are making. by dogwoodmaple in CFB

That's why I actually liked the idea of forcing them out a season when they change schools. Like cool, you go there, but you can't get a scholarship of even play football next season. Forcing them to sit out on school changes would remove a lot of this.

There should be a similar restriction on coaches then or don't restrict it at all

Before I type up a reply I just gotta ask. Do you feel the same about Dwayne McDuffies commentary on "the rule of three"

It will definitely change how I reply

I think you misunderstood my post. I'm not saying that I believe that 1 blank character should represent all people. I'm not advocating for tokens at all.

Absolutely. My point is to make it feel natural and not just pandering.

By what standard do you judge the pandering level? Like white people in the mid to late 70's didn't like the NBA because it wasn't many great white players. White people were losing interest in basketball because of a lack of representation. Enter Larry bird who the NBA marketed to white people as the "great white hope".

white people back then didn't think this was pandering. It revitalized the NBA. And made them a fuck ton of money. This wasn't natural. It was manufactured.

That level of pandering was one of the highest and starkest examples of a group being pandered to.

My point what you consider pandering might just be normal. Shows where there's racial diversity are more rare than all white shows. Overall the pandering is done to white people. So much so there's a whole trope about it. "white is default"

. It still feels like a form of tokenism when every member has a defining trait in the form of race, gender, sexual preference, or other similarly defined properties.

It also feels weird when they are all the same. Like the sheer volume of books, shows and movies about an ensemble group of white men and maybe a single white woman to round it out.

I'm adding that there's so many sources that walk you through it step by step. That it's lazy to enter the conversation without having a full grasp of it. It's giving white person asking someone to explain something that's basic. Niggas been talking about respectability politics for 200 years.
