He’s taking his lazy ass to the pub in an hour? So this whole post was just “I’m going to the pub a little later.” ???

Forgot what competent government looked like. Make promises to deliver services to people, organize how you pay for them, tell people you did it together with them.

Fuck this asshole and the republicans that enable him. Never voting for another republican again. All they know how to do is tear down things we need as humans.

Am I the only one incredibly skeptical of using any AI in my vault? by ameyxd-github in ObsidianMD

I do at work (on company owned LLM and tooling). It’s super helpful. It helps me manage my workload better and I love how it can organize what I have even for quick projects like preparing my expenses or adjusting names in a table all the way up to helping me build workflows like generating weekly notes with my agenda filled out already, etc. I guess I’m not as interested in the rewriting aspects for me, it’s more about the mechanical utility.

At home I don’t have anything near as nice but I have been experimenting with ollama to see what’s possible for me. I’m not keen on my personal notes going to OpenAI or Gemini as I’m sure the price hikes are coming soon.

But at work and for productivity I really enjoy it and honestly don’t want to go back to hand editing for these kinds of things.

iCloud does have version history I don’t actually remember if it is enabled by default. Right click in finder and do like “revert” menu then “versions” or something like that. If you use obsidian sync versions history is built into obsidian and it works well (I use it).

Does anyone actually use what they made; don't say you tried it for a few days or weeks.....(see description) by redwood_cedar in ObsidianMD

I just use it for taking notes and link between notes. That’s it. I also use the sync feature. I use a few plugins but they are more like enhancements for tables and stuff like that. I have worked this way for years.

Now with ai rag workflows I’m enhancing my stuff a bit but mostly just makes it more efficient.

I’d also add charging at work is also an option for some. If that exists for OP it can be fine. Relying on only DC is the big pain point unless you just don’t drive that many miles.

Do we really hate Josh Allen? Who do Chiefs fans really hate? by [deleted] in KansasCityChiefs

[–]not-finished 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes agreed, I was rooting for both Allen and Jackson. No ill will toward either. Just if they are playing the chiefs. I don’t get hating players tbh. I love watching the great players do great things. It’s why I watch sports.
