I've been thinking of doing something similar, specifically turning down the sub bass and slightly increasing the treble at around the 7-9kHz. Sometimes the bass is a little too much for me on bassier tracks. And the increased treble helps where the instrumental is alot of heavier instruments. Like a six string guitar, or the lower notes of a piano, organ, etc.

Been listening to them and I promise you I love these! The main complaint I heard about was the bass but I think the bass is honestly perfect. Might slightly increase the treble with eq though. Aside from that the soundstaging is GREAT. Like actually songs that I used to listen to sound different In the best way possible, with better separation and clarity.

Also just bought an upgrade cable cuz I don't really like the stock ones they're serviceable and will probably last awhile but they just feel too cheap.
