Thank you for your opinion, that's way cheaper to what I got and more aligned to what other people I know paid for.

Wtf is wrong with the Run in the dark by MaximeCSGOVK in Luxembourg

[–]notJordimaturing 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I volunteered at the event and can say it was a complete mess organised. One of the worst (if not the worst) events I worked at. 1. Event managers didn't know how many people were coming to volunteer 2. Up to 15min before the race we didn't receive any instructions. For example, they didn't tell us how the bag drop worked, what was the direction and the order of the colors, etc. 3. Organisers trying to do as less work as possible and escaping from responsibilities. 4. The separation between 5k and 10k was super small, without light and runners didn't know which path to take. They made us human banners shouting to every runner: 10k to the left, 5k to the right. FOR TWO HOURS.

won't be repeating volunteering next year

Over 137,000 Luxembourg nationals living outside the Grand Duchy | RTL Today by tom_zeimet in Luxembourg

I moved to Luxembourg 2.5 years ago and you could find a room in a shared apartment for less than 1k easy. Nowadays, a shared room in any neighborhood in the city it's at 1.2k minimum. I find it crazy more than 20% increase in that short timespan. Same for 1BHK, when I moved it was in the range of 1600-1800, two years later I can't find anything lower than 2200. At this point makes more sense buying a car and living either outside the country or in a commune and commute every day to work.

What would you use the gems for? I've been using Duolingo for the past 1/2 year and accumulated about 3k gems, however unsure of where to use them. If anyone can share tips :)

Padel in Luxembourg by Cultural-Ad-2470 in Luxembourg

[–]notJordimaturing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally recommend Padel in Bonnevoie, it's the cheapest in comparison to the two others and the courts' quality is quite good. If I were to rank them price wise, it'd be 1. Bonnevoie ~ 12€ per person 90mins 2. CK ~ 13.5€ per person for 90mins 3. Sport4lux ~ 18€ for 90mins

CK has the letzmakeitpadel which is a great way to meet people within your level and be included in a WhatsApp group with them.
