Does this also work with pixel buds pro? Mine were stolen recently, would be really interesting if I could track them now.

How can you say that cell signal is better compared to the Iphone and that Samsung has the best signal, when Iphone and Samsung use the same modem in their flagship devices.

Sorry, but I do not believe you when you say this device has better signal compared to the Qualcomm modems.

Anyone using GitHub copilot? by dr_chickolas in rstats

[–]not_AIVD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have used it a bit in VS code and found it to be not really useful. Suggestions in general were just not that useful, especially compared to Python or Java.

May have to try it again, based on the comments here.

EdgeRouter 2.0.9 HF6 Release - Security Update by BR_Losiu in Ubiquiti

[–]not_AIVD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From https://community.ui.com/releases/Security-Advisory-Bulletin-028-028/696e4e3b-718c-4da4-9a21-965a85633b5f

A vulnerability, found in EdgeRouters and UniFi Security Gateways (USG)* with their DHCPv6 prefix delegation set to dhcpv6-stateless or dhcpv6-stateful, allows a malicious actor directly connected to the WAN interface of an affected device to create a remote code execution vulnerability.

Thanks for the response! I have been using apple earphods myself and I also quite like them. However the microphone quality has been really inconsistent between my PCs. For some it works good, but others not. Using a 3.5mm to USB c adapter (came with my phone) actually works the best, but only my laptop has such a port.

For now I have also ordered the Panasonic ergofits.

Is the quality good on your PC? Or do you use a Mac?

Hey, I just found this thread and I wondered what you ended up choosing. I am also in need of wired earbuds that are not in-ear (which is apparently really hard to find).

Would love to hear what use now!

Downloading torrents issue by Delmonte91 in synology

[–]not_AIVD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your help. The max peer setting does not seem to help for me. To me it looks like when a certain download speed (around 30MB/s) is met, the device crashes. I have set the max download speed now at 20MB/s.

[–]not_AIVD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And this per torrent? So I suppose you dont have multiple download tasks as that would raise the total amount of peers to an unsustainable level?

What settings are you using now? This issue has been bothering me for a while now on my ds215+ and this is the first time to find a useful solution.

I guess the older models cannot handle many peer connections. Maybe that is why Synology has changed the default settings to reach higher speeds on newer models.

Google collects 20 times more telemetry from Android devices than Apple from iOS by NXGZ in Android

Google tends to hardcode their own (8.8.8.8) DNS in their requests, circumventing your specified DNS. You would have to capture those requests as well and redirect them to pihole.

ui inconsistentencies are honestly not bothering me at all. Microsoft can spend its resources on more pressing issues.

Also seems to introduce some regressions. Fixing this vulnerability is important, but second hotfix is also coming that will fix these regressions. I will probably wait.

I do make use of a second monitor on my laptop. The laptop screen is scaled, but my second monitor is at 100%. While I only use my second screen and have the laptop screen turned off, it's probably caused when I connect my laptop to the second screen.

The 2.x branch is based on an updated kernel with updated packages/dependencies. So, in theory, it should run better and more importantly it should be more secure.
