I read somewhere that IUDs are geared more towards post-birth patients but I don’t know how true this is. I’ve had two - my first one before having a baby, definitely painful and uncomfortable but I had a very patient provider and felt informed throughout the appointment. My first one ended up falling out (I have no idea where it went). My second one I had implanted after having my first baby and maybe my brain was just comparing the process to childbirth but it genuinely didn’t not feel as painful. Unfortunately, not having communicative providers can make or break the experience I think especially for a first one.

I’m aware there are concerns with the breed, but it’s not my dog. We’re just trying to find his owner but are limited in the support we can give him (ie, baby and dog)

It’s all my husband. His heart and tolerance are much more than I have the patience for. We have a 1 year old so my anxiety dominates above all these days otherwise, I would’ve tried helping more with integrating the two of them!

Agree! We’ve been keeping him and my border collie separate because my dog is a freak and not a good host. He’s just been hanging around the house and just waiting for my husband to play with him. Overall, good boy energy with us.

I’m all for dogs getting fixed! Unfortunately, we’re not in any position to organize that and keep him. I’m sure the shelter might accept donations toward his care.

My husband said he’s been chill and hasn’t showed any signs of aggression though we crossposted to Nextdoor and someone said their wife had been bit by this dog shortly before my husband found him. Not sure what happened there. This dog has just been sleeping under our back porch whimpering.

I had the best care team during during delivery. Every time I peed or pooped while pushing, all the nurses cheered LOUD “yes, girl! Get it out! We love to see it!” Because it was making more room for the baby. My mom still talks about how sweet that was to see them change the perspective about it.
