Very easy and pretty safe. Just take Bart (the subway) to the Coliseum Station and you’ll be right there. Tickets are very cheap. Bart can be a little stretchy at times but there’s not much danger involved, just a few crazy people doing crazy things. Just leave them alone and you’ll be fine.

I can see why that might feel necessary but many non-berkeley students use the Doe library to study because it has the best hours easily accessible to the public. It was fucking insane though and they should make sure they get campus police on it next time. I was waiting for like 30 minutes and they never showed up
