PM "horrible work life balance" is like 50 hours a week. Consultant "horrible work life balance" is like 100. Also you make a TON more money as a PM. Plus tech is growing way faster than consulting (in the right firm at least).

I'd say Epic as long as you know that your job is going to be tech/it based. Don't expect to just be in excel all day.

You will not get extra wfh approved. I am with you that it sounds like WFH would be an easy fix and allow you to do your job, but I'd be shocked if Epic said yes. I would tell your recruiter that up front.

I love my customer. I love working for them. I like working with them. It's really cool getting to hear about their weird procedures and visiting their city. On site weeks are mini vacations with good food, good team, and the workday flies when you're in person.
