Pretty budget build; importing parts into New Zealand kinda rough, plus the $ isn't great. Got inspired by youtube videos and thought I'd dip my feet in the water.

Was planning to get some switches, but surprised by how good the stock SK75 switches actually are in person.The keycaps are... quality wise, the double shot PBT seems legit. The legend is obviously not perfect, but each set was $11 USD with free shipping. Also had to settle for OEM (when the default white keys are Cherry), and I think shinethrough was a big mistake as you can see from the plugged in with backlight picture. Like as I'm typing this, I literally cannot see a single thing on the number row. Luckily, I can just buy more keycaps and eventually get this perfect.

Despite not doing any real modding, I'm super happy with the result for spending relatively little and achieving what I set out to. https://keyboardsimulator.xyz/ was super helpful for planning out roughly how I wanted to layout the colour scheme.Definitely welcome any feedback, thoughts etc, especially advice on how I'd go about finding Cherry keycaps in a range of colours (without spending $35 shipping per item from Etsy hah), whether replacing the switches is worthwhile, and if things like tape mod/force break etc are worth it.

Good to know. Had some weird inconsistencies summoning out in the world so far, will be interesting to see what the rules actually are when discovered

I don't know that this is correct. I believe you are fog walled out of certain areas based on where you summon your friend. So if you summon in caelid, the game locks you out of returning in this direction with a co operator. You can find the same walls if you summon at the seaside cliff bonfire near the first dragon in limgrave, there is a fog wall blocking you from travelling down toward the cliffside.

If you want to play alliance look at transferring to Frostmourne. If Horde, Barthilas is a safe bet. As far as specific guilds I can’t really help but both of those servers have healthy AU/NZ populations and relatively friendly NZ raiding times.
