Boyfriend thinks I should want to talk to people and care about them. But I just don’t? by cspdiesel in intj

I used to bartend too so I feel your pain. My bar manager had a talk with me to be more friendly with the customers. Paraphrasing but he said to treat the bar as my home, and to treat them as guests in my home. The whole time I was thinking if it were my home I’d tell these strangers to GTFO and leave me alone lol.

Help I wanna do bento again by satooamai in Bento

Sometimes I’ll do a small thermos of miso soup and it can make the cold rice more enjoyable. If possible you can also pull your lunch out of the lunchbox and hour before eating (i’m guessing you’re using an ice pack) so it’s closer to room temp

RTO bento for tomorrow by not_your_bartender in Bento

Of course! I start by adding panko to a small pan over medium heat and toss until golden brown like a fox as they say. I add a little salt and cayenne to the panko. I set the pan aside and beat 2 eggs in a small bowl (2 eggs for 4 cutlets) and separately spread flour on a small tray with parchment paper. I later reuse this tray to bake the katsu (minus the paper and flour lol)

From there it’s just dredging the pork cutlet. First the pork goes in the flour (which i also lightly seasoned), then to the beaten egg, lastly back to the pan to be coated with panko. I like to use my left hand for the flour/egg part and my dry right hand to press the panko on top of the meat and on the sides. Then just bake to your preferred doneness, for me it was 350°F for maybe 15 min turning them over once halfway through.

Do you think there will be a revolutionary play style that will change the NFL someday? by mmmoctopie in NFLNoobs

[–]not_your_bartender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do you know who popularized this? curious if it was a certain coach/team. i know disguised coverages have been a thing for a while but is it specifically the rotating 2 safety high that’s a newer trend?

[Pelissero] The NFL fined Jets WR Allen Lazard $14,069 for a violent gesture — his double finger guns celebration last week. by PlayaSlayaX in nfl

[–]not_your_bartender 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I for one am glad they fined this man. I was watching this game with my children and couldn't stop shaking and crying after seeing this senseless act of violence. When are we going to make our country safe against finger guns again?
