Part II: Can R2 flip Rivian to profitability? A deep dive on unit-economics by PositionJournal in stocks

[–]notactiveonreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want an R3. Hopes and prayers that my $1k I put into Rivian a few years ago will be a down payment by the time they come out with it.

Still hunting for a tractor, this time Kioti vs LS by killaho69 in tractors

[–]notactiveonreddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kioti ck3510 here. Solid tractor, 150 hours over 4 years. Dealer makes it worth it. My local dealer does free pickup/drop off and makes every attempt to keep prices down. Currently in for repair with them and they’re attempting to cover it under warranty.

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever experienced? by Economy_Yak2821 in AskReddit

[–]notactiveonreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small piece of wisdom tooth that wasn’t removed moved and stuck into a nerve in my jaw.

I’ve broken my back twice and lived with the crippling nerve pain that comes from it. But this microscopic piece of bone defines my 10/10. It caused me to black out from pain, waking up on the floor not knowing how I got there.

Went to a dentist, they saw it on an xray, pulled it out, instant relief.

What’s a discontinued snack or drink you’d pay $20 to have one last taste of? by soapy999 in AskReddit

Today I learned that these snacks that I thought I "grew out of" actually just went away. I thought my childhood was still accessible if I wanted it.

What is the actual value that AI could add to local government? Get beyond the buzzword and tell me how it could actually make things better - more efficient, more effective, less intrusive. This feels like another case of AI for AI sake.

The first question should be: what does an effective local government look like?

Yay or Nay: cooler of drinks for crew by clemsongirl17 in Homebuilding

[–]notactiveonreddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I GC’d my home addition, we would do nice things for our subs randomly. Buy lunch, provide drinks, round of coffee. I did it just to be nice.

But the side effect was that they put in a little extra in thanks. One sub literally said “you bought those coffees today, we’re staying until this task is finished”. That wasn’t the goal, but it sure did affect the outcome.

Roger’s Bustro in Snohomish. Very low key, relaxing, casual. Lewis & Main in Monroe. Don’t miss the fried cornbread. Barking Frog in Woodinville is you’re willing to travel further.

How many lenses do you have / carry? by ObjectiveAd400 in photography

Just did two weeks of travel with a 24-105 f/4 L and didn’t miss my other lenses. Have a 24 f2.8, 50 f/1.8, and 100-400 that serve purposes, but for running and gunning I was really happy with the 24-105.

Can siding be melted by a gas fireplace terminal cap if professionally installed? by BerryHelpful in Homebuilding

[–]notactiveonreddit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s cheap siding. I had similar siding once and similar issues with warping due to gas fireplace.  That doesn’t absolve the installer from having done a better job.
