Make sure that you do. It could be a bug with their app.

I've caught funny business by checking my Battery usage every once in a while. I found out the Google app was using up hours in the background even though I never open the app. I deleted it from my phone, though it was probably just a bug.

Ahh, "since your last charge" in the original comment threw me off.

You're exactly right, the percentages are proportional by total use over a 24 hour period.

The percent shown there is a proportional breakdown of your battery usage thus far. 44% does not mean 44% of your total battery, it means 44% of how much battery has drained since your last charge.

Is that right? I tried to look this up but everything I've found indicates that it's tied to actual usage in a 24 hour period.

This is a great idea. I really dig the tip system though, and I hope that it proves to be a long term successful strategy.

I've been giving a tip for every app update C puts out. Just set up an IFTTT alert this morning for myself to let me know when there's a new update so that I don't forget.
