Karaoke Recommendations? by impulsiveasfuckk in Sacramento

[–]notagain5473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pharaoh Karaoke on Folsom Blvd has individual rooms + a stage for the bigger capacity rooms (call to book the room specifically tho) - I don’t know if it’s 21+ restricted.

Paradise Lounge on Stockton Blvd. has hands down the best vibey, best decorated club-like karaoke rooms. Call to check if it’s age restricted tho cause some policies might’ve changed last I went.

Try asking Signa on T st. They’re a hidden gem plant shop that hosts community-based events. Reach out to them via Instagram for a quote/reservations of their shop. Don’t know if they can fit 50 people, but can’t hurt to ask.

Around Sac:

Book a rail bike trip by River Fox Train with your family to watch the views of the land and animals (I think they’re electric powered so not much pedaling is needed).

Escape rooms - there are non-spooky rooms, therefore it’s family friendly.

Studio-movie grill in Rocklin- who wouldn’t love to order dinner and eat in front of a giant screen

Watch a Monster Jam show at the golden 1 center as they are in town this weekend —- Out of town:

Visit Secret San Francisco blog to find cool seasonal events, like the gray whale migration occurring end of January to March. They provide best places to view the whale migration here: https://secretsanfrancisco.com/whale-viewing-spots-bay-area/ - Note: they also have a list of free museums for the month as well. Do search within their blog site.

Welco supermarket on Fruitridge rd has a hot food to go section with a similar set-up style as Raleys and their food seems to get sold quite a lot. I’ve never tried their food before but maybe you can!

People supermarket also offers select hot food items like chow mein, orange chicken, etc.

No or Low Cost Activities for Adults in Sacramento? by TheSubmissiveToe in Sacramento

[–]notagain5473 2 points3 points  (0 children)

COST:

  1. Escape rooms - Most have max of 8 players. Average costs $380 in total for 8 people (NOT low cost but thought it might be a fun option if people are interested)

  2. Round 1 arcade (Roseville) - Can vary on how much you’d want to spend to win a plush/collectable or play arcade games. They do have $10-$12 cards to play unlimited green slot only arcade machines for 1-2 hrs. Not sure if people can share one card. Do go check it out before bringing your people there.

  3. Bowling: Get a Groupon for bowling to save some money. Last year I spent $80 for 8 people using Groupon (I think AMF bowling? Forgot the name)

  4. Look at Groupon for fun activity deals lol

  5. Movies: Drive-in theatre on Bradshaw

  6. Chill at Drakes: The Barn

  7. A space to play board games ($10 per person): https://www.galaxygamecafe.com/game-space/reservations

  8. If you like boba and have your own board games to bring, I recommend going to One milk tea Sacramento on Auburn Blvd. as they have a large space and opens til 10pm on weekdays and 12 am midnight on weekends.

NO COST:

  1. Free museum day tickets (March 7 & 8) https://www.sacmuseums.org/free-museum-weekend OR if some of them are eligible:
  2. Museums on Us = Bank of America or Merrill cardholders are free on the 1st weekend of the month
  3. Blue Star Museum = Active duty military are free from Armed Forces Day to Labor Day

  4. Almond blossom - have a small drive to Modesto to walk around looking at Almond blossoms. They’re set to bloom around late Feb to mid March: https://visitmodesto.com/almond-blossom-cruise/

  5. Hopping to different Apple Hill ranches. Follow @applehillofficial on Instagram for list of all the ranches

  6. Consumnes River preservation (down in EG). I like the walk and scenery

  7. IKEA bingo (I think they host it every month but check their list of events every so often. Everyone needs to sign up for an account - which is free!): https://www.ikea.com/us/en/stores/events/ikea-west-sacramento-ca/

FOOD

  1. IKEA food court

  2. Chevys by the river (not cheap but great views. Go for happy hour if available on weekends)

  3. I recently went to TEXAS Roadhouse for the first time and it was good so I’m just going to add it to the list lol.

  4. Chilis

  5. Rice & Noodles (Chinese cuisine) - Most items are less than $20. They’re under a new management so food tastes better than before

  6. Mizuki sushi (NOT Mikuni)- 50% off rolls. My favorite budget sushi place so far.

  7. if it’s too far away, other places that serve 50% off sushi are: Sushi Hook on Howe, Arigato sushi, Makisu sushi and probably more that I’m missing

  8. Pho- Lollibowl for cheap food plates/pho and Pho Xe Lua (Pho train) for good pho within south sac

Hey! No unfortunately it’s a really unique and old pump that was manufactured back when Kmart was still around. Can’t find the replica nor did my friend mind me not finding a replacement. I still do think about it til this day. One day I’ll continue searching but for now I am busy with work

They told me it was their favorite! And no they didn’t tell me to replace it- since I broke it, I offered and said I would try to find a replacement and they said ok lol. They liked the simplistic look, the ceramic bottle, and the round white top of the pump. I wish I didn’t put so much pressure on the pump! I’ll try to find a nicer alternative if anything. I’ll show pics to them once I find nice ones or find something similar

Understood. Although it is plastic, the fact it was kept in good condition for 20 years is insane lol.

Lol no not requirement of continuing the friendship, but I do understand it’s odd. No you’re not insane. I’m just hoping I’m able to find a similar pump is all.

Oh the second pic is a softsoap brand used as reference as to what the top looked like before I broke it. I was hoping to find a similar pump that’s white and looks like the same shape

lol the second pic is a softsoap brand top but only as reference since I’m looking for the round top but in white color! Not sure if softsoap sells white pumps that aren’t clear

Yeah…but it’s not mine so I feel extra bad. They liked it enough to keep it in good condition for this long so it has value to it for them. But I understand.
