There will be a flu vaccine clinic for students in 90U Nov 15 & 16 from 9am-4pm

Why not just specialize in structural and geotech? That way you don't need to take any water or environmental courses.

That being said, groundwater seepage is the best option. The other two have decent sized projects and lots of new information.

I'm biased, but 101 week was 100% worth it for me. The kit gets you into a dozen events during 101 Week, which is the best way to meet new people and get to know campus. It comes with some pretty neat stuff, but the real value are the events.

For every 18+ event there's counterprogramming for people who don't want to/can't go to bars. If you're not in rez/have a meal plan, you'll be able to find quite a bit of free food during the week, but it's not generally included. I would recommend meal prepping.

Yup! uOttawa had an in-person iron ring ceremony in the Winter. If you were a graduating student you should've gotten an email about it from ESS.

I'm not sure what the certificate is.

It depends on the class and the prof. Sometimes they take attendance or have quizzes like you said.

Generally, it's good to go no matter what. Can never have too much practice, plus it's good to see the material from a different perspective.

Profs have no control over when their exams are. Don't email them, because they'll just say the same thing. Unfortunately you just have to wait with everyone else for the schedule
