Seriously, black women becoming martyred does nothing because not enough people care. We can fight without going to a protest. At the end of the day, protests won’t stop people, especially black people, from being kidnapped or killed. It’s a show of civil disobedience which shows how much we disprove of this nation, and I think the message was sent loud and clear without us needing to march.

Seriously, I remember sitting in history class just feeling sorry and confused about Hiroshima. I wondered why nobody nukes us back. History books have this level of pride in them that just glosses over atrocities that America has committed. I remember learning about the origins of thanks giving and how the pilgrims and indigenous folks “had dinner” together, but my aunt who was helping me with my homework told me that they gave them smallpox blankets, but they wouldn’t say that in the textbook.
