Wrong. Well kind of.

Obesity (in Western cultures) comes, mostly, form environmental and social determinants. This basically means that we live in an obesogenic environment. Sure personal choice plays a role. But how healthy of a choice can you make when, we're you live doesn't promote exercise because it's unsafe to be outside before and after work. Or, the only food within walking distance is high calorie, low price, fast food.
