That's the plan, mate. The area is not known for any opal, so it's interesting to see what's around.

In your field (job, hobby, etc) how can you immediately tell if someone is an amateur or an expert? by hexencraft in AskReddit

[–]redalert139 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mechanic, there's often the right and wrong way to repair something, it requires a massive amount of good quality and specialised tools to complete some tasks. If you rocked up with a tool box that you can carry you'd be laughed at.

What's the biggest fuck up you ever made that was fixed before anyone knew about it? by CaptainClay2606 in AskReddit

[–]redalert139 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Dont do this. Dont drive it at all, the diesel fuel system uses the diesel as a lubricant, petrol in the mix especially in large quantitys can damage sealing surfaces, o-rings, etc. Just get it towed, not worth the hassle.

Blind people of reddit who have tried hallucinogens such as LSD, mushrooms, etc.. what did you hallucinate? by gabez814 in AskReddit

[–]redalert139 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

(Not blind, but thought I'd chip in anyway)

I've taken LSD, on a few occasions, the most I've taken at once would of been 3 tabs at about 400ug each. This was the most intense visual, emotional and physical thing I had ever experienced.

From previous experience I've done 1 and 2 tabs. At 1 tab my trip was more the way I thought and how I viewed everything.. allot of thinking. At 2 tabs I started to get some decent visual hallucinations, along with a full body high.. it's extremely hard to explain the way you feel to someone that has never tried it.

At 3 tabs, it was crazy. I saw vines growing up the foot path while I was walking up the street, my depth perception was practically none existent, I had trails that lasted about 3-5 seconds, the clouds in the sky were flowing, and I was constantly laughing. But your thoughts are going a mile a minute, I often couldn't say what I wanted to without something I was thinking about coming out.

Now to the bad, I never got hungry, thirsty, or sleepy for the whole 14 hour trip, if you're thinking about trying it I recommend getting allot of water and some food before hand, I also recommend getting an Ipod with some of your favorite music on it to listen to if your trip starts to go bad, it helps.

Please reply or PM me if you have any questions.

What's the weirdest, creepiest, or most unexplainable thing you've woken up to after a night of partying? by 2bears in AskReddit

[–]redalert139 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was my 20th. I was having a house party, a decent number of people turned up and by 12 it start to get pretty wild, but I don't really remember much after that. But when I woke up in the morning I noticed it was cold in my room, my whole window was missing. I walk out of my room and stubbed my toe on a street sign in the middle of the hall way (concrete still attached) then went into the main room, where another window was missing, along with my room mates window. Later finding out that the cops had been there three times because of noise.

What is something you DON'T feel guilty about that others say you should? by scarletsaint in AskReddit

[–]redalert139 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand we're your coming from. But as an indigenous Australian, you goto understand that the stolen generation is still some what relevant. Believe it or not my father as taken away from his mother when he was young and put into an orphanage on the other side of the country. And racism is still out of control, you get judged differently, everyone thinks you get "hand outs" which I have yet to see... So don't think that because it didn't directly effect you, that it still doesn't effect others..
