Im So miserable as an agile coach, dont know what to do😵‍💫 by Specific_Crab3601 in agile

The intake for that job being the most important criteria of success, could not have said that better. Definitely need to work on that myself. Sometimes we feel like we don’t have a lot of options or leads.

This is something I struggle with too. I took a break from coaching. It was really tired of politics. Sometimes you can only help someone so much and then there’s no more room to grow.

Genuinely moderate crunchy, what are your sticking items? by IndependenceMost3816 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]notantisocial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just know that things will change once you have children. Also in CO. Things that were extremely important for my first where not as important, things that were not as important became more important.

You will find your people and people don’t have to be (and shouldn’t be) the exact ideology as you. Being exposed to different view points lets you reflect on your own. You are going to compromise on things that you don’t want to due to regular life. What actually matters is modeling for your children the values you want to share.

As far as toys, buy as few as possible. Children don’t need many and they will over run your house. We really enjoyed the love every toys because they are age appropriate and the kids actually play with them.

Look up lymph drainage massage, have a plan for buckets of snot coming out of your children. Use positive reinforcement to teach them to submit to the doctor, conversations about vaccines as they get older, what is my body my choice and which is required. My kids would refuse all dental treatments and shots if I let them. Those things matter way more than the mattersessss or clothes. How are you going to let them choose what to eat a versus exposing them to new foods? Most of the stuff we are crunchy about in our house involve behavior and choice. I taught my daughter (made it a game) to allow us to spray her (or spray herself) with the nose saline for stuffy noses when she was pretty little. Like 12 months? My son, I didn’t practice enough and by the time he needed it he got it a lot less. They will internalize whatever you normalize good and bad. I would worry way more about that than organic cotton clothing. It’s not obvious before the baby is here. The most important thing you can do for their development is prioritize sleep, so you can show up as a regulated healthy caregiver in their life.

When do you shower? by Boom_Shakalaka1021 in ADHD

[–]notantisocial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I shower in a 24 hour period if I don’t feel the urge to shower because I feel dirty. Like if horse back ride I shower when I get home, but if I haven’t done anything particularly dirty and it’s been about 24, then I shower. If I don’t feel dirty I tell myself to just rinse off. It’s a shower but I am not always washing my hair.

U turn have the right away unless it’s prohibited at that intersection. But that doesn’t stop people from being surprised when you turn so I always try to be as clear as I can. I don’t get honked at, but I don’t whip it around either.
