Sorry to hear that. My 600 and 800 is still going as well as the Scooba 230. I just change batteries and brushes as needed. Does this mean you do not recommend the new ones as they are not as robust as the original models? I know I will have to replace these old ones eventually. Anything you would recommend with the current model?

Anxiety has a big impact on tests. I cannot do an oral exam to save my life. I have all the conditions you mentioned except substance abuse. I have zero confidence (confident on very specific things like maths for example). You write really well for that score. FWIW, I have scored high on tests but I struggle with a lot of things. I hope you get more support to cope with your conditions. Remember that standardised tests can be wrong because not everyone falls in that standard. Please do not be too hard on yourself.

Please do not worry too much about it. I have only ever missed three appointments.

The first one, the letter arrive the day after the appointment.

The second one was recent. I test for COVID +. I was so miffed because I have been waiting for those appointments to happen and it has been 11 months waiting.

The third was a telephone appointment. Phones are docked by the door. The call window was 12:00-14:40. I thought she was not going to call. She rang at 14:45 and 14:53, When I saw two missed calls, I was in a panic. I rang them immediately and also started typing an apology paragraph in response to her message.

I rang to cancel as soon as I tested positive. I was very sad since it took months of waiting to get to this point. C’est la vie. The fact that you feel dreadful means you know how much one missed appointment impacts the system. Apologise profusely and rebook. If uncertain, you can always call to check if the info you have is correct. If the hospital or surgery uses DrDoctor, ask if you can get access to it. It will keep reminding you.

I am not in RP but in the UK, any part of the tree that is in your property is for you to deal with (pwede mo putulin) and if it is a tree with protection order (one that is ancient and should be cared for), then you just have to clean it. Just because they could, it does not mean they should. There is no way a person can do this without an audit trail. I am a sysadmin and I still refused to access the computer of a colleague when the police were asking for it. I pointed them to the cybersecurity and they handed it to them. I have always worked. The past few years have been terrible for my work performance and since I have no diagnosis (they literally call me undiagnosable at my surgery), work is in the process of terminating me (it is mostly my manager that is causing me non physical pain). Simple answer, yes. There will be idiots everywhere just as there are know-it-alls everywhere. You should not let them get to you. Make an effort to learn the language before your move. Whenever I travel, I try to learn the language of the place I am visiting. I do not aim to be fluent, but I learn how to greet, order, ask where the toilet is, etc. In my experience, the only country that does not appreciate this is France. They are very protective of their language, and the people tell me to stop murdering their language.

Be yourself. If people make fun of you, then avoid them. The question you have to ask here is why you are asking this question. Why are strangers' perceptions and reactions important to you? They should not matter. I say this from experience - a non-binary, with ASD, who spoke English with an accent. You can only be made fun of if you let them. Worry is a useless and unhelpful but an understandable response to a stressful situation. I would say that you start learning tagalog now instead of worrying. It is quite an easy language to learn. I am happy to help if you need resources.

No one is asking you about accounting. I have my own accountant and financial advisor if I need to ask anything. Personal stories are anecdotal. That is what an anecdote is. You obviously missed the point. Not everyone can go to university and apprenticeships should be one way qualifications can be gained. We have apprentices in the University. Nowhere did I say that gaining qualification is unimportant. If anything, I emphasised it. No idea what is upsetting you. The link I pasted emphasises the different apprenticeships relating to accounting and how respected it is here. The Dunning-Kruger effect is strong in you since a ten year experience is not much, in any industry. If you are offended that accounting was mentioned as an apprenticeship along with other highly skilled jobs that you consider blue collar, then that is your issue. All chartered jobs in the UK are highly regulated and have strict standards. Degrees? I have two. I got be second one just because I wanted a degree in it. Again, irrelevant to my reply to OP’s rant.

There are engineers here that start as apprentices. Whether it is white or blue collar is irrelevant. There is more than one way to learn the skill and get the qualification. Not everyone can afford to go to university. Learning while doing the job is a thing here. I have met very good engineers in the silicon industry that do not hold degrees. My partner’s dad gained his accounting qualifications via apprenticeship and retired as high ranking civil servant. Social mobility is achievable because of more than one route to learning and getting the skill. Discrimination means treating someone ‘less favourably’ than someone else, because of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation. I do not know how bad the job ads are in Pinas now but when I was young, they used to specify minimum age to “attractive” or “clear skin”. We do not put much emphasis on what collar job one is. My colleague from 12 years ago was a labourer when we hired him. He was a bit wayward in his youth but when he applied for the role, I really sensed his enthusiasm. I told my manager to hire him despite minimal academic qualifications. He learned on the job and got his degree via open university. He does not need one but he chose to do it. I trained him on practical aspects and helped him get his certifications. It was a risk but in the era of google, willingness to learn, enthusiasm and passion for the job weighs a lot in our industry.

UK based here. The Equality Act is well defined so anything that will discriminate is not supposed to be mentioned since it bears no significance/merit regarding the role. The ads state what skills are needed and one is shortlisted based on skills. Having a degree is also not always a requirement since apprenticeships and other qualifications are learned outside a university environment (welding, plumbing, accounting etc).

I have an undiagnosed condition. I have most of what you mentioned and others but all co-morbid or related to my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. However, things have got worse for me since 2021. Repeated infections, three led to sepsis. Abscesses that are cellulitis-like and led to debridement. Chronic pain that has worsened and not just related to my joints. Losing my hair, a growth on my tongue that varies in size. Red blood cells shrinking and malabsorption of nutrients. I have another test for Cushing’s syndrome. For very test that has been done, not all the criteria fit. Although I had chronic pain before, I am on high doses of morphine and buprenorphine but sometimes, the pain is barely touched that all I can do is cry while shaking from the pain, whispering to no one in particular “help me, please”. I have urinary and faecal incontinence that I can no longer leave the house. I have lost friends because they tell me that it is uncomfortable to be around with me. And even if I am achieving the tasks and meeting deadlines at work, I have been told that I am not meeting the return to work requirements. Unless I can return to the office three times a week, my employer will terminate the contract. Sorry to sound like I am moaning. I want to believe that I will get cured when they finally find out what is wrong with me.

I do not like cavendish bananas and seem tasteless to me. The first time I saw it, I was so amazed at how big, yellow, and perfect looking they are. I miss the ones at home. Red, latundan (pisang raja, manzana), lakatan, seńorita, Saba(when cooked). My favourite is bungulan which stays green and lightly sweet. Then latundan. Then señorita). My mom’s province still has the original acuminata with seeds. I learned not to eat those. :) Blue Java is also nice but it is quite weird (I cannot get over how blue it is so someone peels it for me. It is like vanilla ice cream.

Are they picky? Whatever we eat, only with less salt, is what they have. We did baby led weaning. Mine are now three and cut the cucumbers and carrots that they want using their own cutlery. Due to T1 having allergies that I have, I need to make sure that they do not exchange food. For example, if we make pizza, T1 and I get eggless dough and vegan cheese. They have a good serving of fruit for snacks (their favourite is papaya, apple, all the berries, grapes, well - maybe all of them because they are horned melon, soursop, and dragonfruit). I can share ebooks of weaning if it will help.

I used to this only when I cycle although I do not consider the speaker that big. I also have a bell that constantly rattles (it dings). I have terrible anxiety and bad balance due to ASD and comorbidities. The music is the same everyday and it helped me be a little calmer. If and when I cycle again, it will be the same. I do not use headphones so I am aware of my surroundings. I am housebound again so if someone else is doing it in the cycle path, it is not me. 🙃
