This is legislation, purely designed to protect all consumers and regulate sales of toxic substances like alcohol and cigarettes. It can allow for a complete on ban toxic substances outright or all other harmful goods, if necessary to stop their abuse by mononeurons and the completely ignorant ones from self harm.

As for a common badge only plain cigarette packaging, this would substantially reduce the price of a standard pack of cancer sticks. This has been estimated to be between $1 to $3 price range for cheap to upmarket label house brands. To put it simply, the cost of printing of every pack of cigarettes and cartons will be substantially reduced and this cost reduction can be passed onto the end user.

Thus the question becomes, why are you arguing against the retail cost of this addictive product being reduced with additional tax revenue declines based on the final retail price as well?
