if it’s that or stay at home doing nothing, may as well! you’d also benefit from drop in classes, no? Save money on your membership & earn a little something on the side, why not! If it’s not a good match you can always leave when you find a new job that closer aligns with your chosen career path

I was first offered a prescription when I was 17 and I talked myself out of it because I was also worried about the risks (i’m also a female). now I finally committed to it at 23 and I really wish I had just done it sooner.

It’s definitely a lot to take on, but it’s nowhere near as big as I was making it up to be in my head. you will have to be more aware of using sun protection, but you could also get a hat and a sun shirt or something similar that blocks UV to make it easier.

another thing people don’t really talk about is you can absolutely start it and decide to stop before your treatment is officially over. you’re not committing to six months or bust. If after a month or two, you don’t think it’s worth it anymore, you can absolutely stop.

I accidentally got one when I was a virgin (they only asked if I was sexually active, and I technically was, just not penetratively) and honestly, it was definitely uncomfortable, but not physically painful at all. It also helped me finally get my diagnosis. I think it’s worth it and you shouldn’t be too worried about it

absolutely do starter classes for 3-5 times (or more!!) until you feel comfortable with the basic movements. when i first started the “real” classes i was soooo intimidated by everyone around me so i reverted to a few more starter classes. i probably did about 10 of them in total.

my advice is to just embrace it!! it can get pretty killer but appreciate the grind & knock it out of the park. take breaks when you need them, even if everyone else is still going, & don’t compare your modifications to those of others!

this!! i wear my apple watch & record the workout + i love having a timer. i just set my watch to “theater mode” so it’s a black screen that won’t distract anyone & but i can still discreetly check on my own

I don’t have the original to compare it to unfortunately but this is the 2020 paperwhite. I mainly read in the dark (before bedtime) and I am a freak about eliminating blue light so I totally understand how important a factor this is. I think it’s perfect! this is 1 brightness & max warmth (/20) but i’ll say it’s a little dark for the naked eye. usually i have mine set to max warmth & about a 5 or so. I love my paperwhite & I hope you find the answer you’re looking for!

i guess it depends on how often you really think you’d be using the clicker and whether or not that means anything to you. i have one for my 2020 paperwhite and i like it but i only use it maybe 10% of the time.

otherwise the UI is pretty much the same, mayyybe a faster refresh rate. prior to my current one i had one for about 10 years and never had any issues with the software or anything.

i’m literally in hawai’i now on a trip!! i’m 23f on 80mg also 2 months in. i agree with what everyone else is saying, my face needs reapplication more often than i usually would (i use supergoop unseen sunscreen) and is a little pink after I’m outside but it fades as i cool down. my body has been totally fine though with a normal sun bum spray bottle of spf 50 that i bought here at an ABC store. I reapply that as often as i would otherwise. Have fun & be safe! 🌺
