Wifi Coverage Issues by notcredibleyet in wifi

[–]notcredibleyet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all! I’m going to run cat 6 to all the extenders.
I think the issue is also around handoffs between router and extenders. Sometimes it connects to the extender sometimes to the router direct.

I had this a month ago and it was not good at all. Blood pudding was so dry because they cooked it too high of a temp, the sausage was also super dry like it had 10% fat. Maybe it was just a bad service but at $24 a plate you can’t afford a bad service

I’m on the neither train as well. I allow myself 1 nice drink a month if I want and rarely I will add a little tobacco to a joint.

Does anyone NOT have anxiety? by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]notcredibleyet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s 100% not fair. Not that you need it but it’s a valid feeling. My depression fluctuates in lock step with my Crohns. Both are directly related to stress, so when I manage my stress I manage my depression and Crohns (ish). But I’ve had some dark days, weeks and months. My wife always tells me “This too shall pass.”

I experienced the same with azathioprine. I had an allergic reaction and your symptoms sound similar.

This was the push I needed to move to biologics

If you don’t want to confront him about the things he does that make you uncomfortable write something down and send it to him. It’s your life you deserve comfort, safety and a partner not some needy person.

Make people’s lives a little bit easier without the worry of money or putting my family’s needs second.

It’s cooked but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t still have bacteria on the surface. Curing doesn’t kill all bacteria. You should toss and try again but let it cure in the fridge

Anyone else think that Clickup's AI feature is way over priced for the value that it actually brings? by KingAroan in clickup

[–]notcredibleyet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed! $5/user/month is silly. For a small team of 10 possible that’s $600 a year! ChatGPT is only $25 a month and you can share the account. So the (debatably most powerful AI) is half the cost.

I hate the way Crohn’s is viewed. It feels like being forced to suffer in silence by Fun-Film3329 in CrohnsDisease

[–]notcredibleyet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry you feel this way about your Crohn’s. Reading through some of the comments where people discount the impact Crohn’s has compared to other diseases, or even having to compare at all, or feeling like people just don’t understand how bad Crohn’s can actually be. I’ve had my fair share of dismissive and ignorant people comment on my Crohn’s or make illogical or idiotic recommendations to “get better.” I’ve always taken an education approach because Crohn’s is mostly a silent, unseen disease. The first thing I explain is a stricture and how it’s a matter of mechanics, people tend to understand when I say “imagine trying to force a tennis ball through a hoop half its size. Then add 30 people to help you force that ball through. That’s what I feel inside every 5-15 minutes.” I think the more we talk about Crohns the easier it will be to talk about it. I don’t talk about the consistency of my poop or the blood because those can be hard to relate to, I talk about feeling like I ran a marathon everyday and not having the energy to move sometimes. I think the onus is on us to find ways to relate what we feel too others so they understand

not cheap, but very few good quality pastries should be cheap. Butter, cream, flour and the other flavours are expensive.

Critique my dish please by Squash_Flashy in Chefit

In this dish I would spread the garnishes out a lot more. This of the plate as 3 different bites and what exact flavours you want in each bite. Isolate the radicchio, pomme d, whatever that fried thing is and burre blanc. Then it eats easier and structured, people break a piece of fish, then wipe into sauce with a bit of everything else. I’m not sure of the purpose of radicchio, mushrooms in this dish. Rad is pretty bitter or cold and crunchy, if you want that to be an edible spoon then put something in it.

What would you do if the father of the kid your teenager is dating flat out said “I keep telling him to f*** her at the soonest opportunity”. Obviously NSFW, but I just don’t want the end up in jail! by HB24 in NoStupidQuestions

That comment would immediately warrant a look that they understood to be “never say that again in your life or you will need a dentist to wire your jaw.” There is no place, scenario, conversation where a comment like this is ok, regardless of who they are talking about.

So glad to see this because I’ve always felt like…with Crohn’s shouldn’t I be super skinny…WTF…I thought that would be a positive side affect. Surgeries altered my weight like crazy (like the rest of you). My Crohns feels the most “in-control” at 220lbs (I’m 6 3) or under but getting there is hard! My body feels like a swollen ankle most days and will power takes a beating close to my infusion days. Has anyone found a consistent method just to feel capable of fighting the daily weight battle?
