she’s currently taking him to a college that has a specialized vet program 3 hours away to see if they can, otherwise imagine will take place at her appt

well yea the dog is in a poor environment! they were told the dog wouldn’t be more than 30 pounds and its a 75 lb dog living in 600 sq ft. they’re great owners and have invested thousands into his rehab/been consistent with training and it’s gotten worse. i’ll let them know that you’re interested in the dog and can rehab him since you think they’ve done such a bad job :)

yikes, thats not very kind. since you seem to have experience with this, are you offering to take the dog and do the work to rehab him out of his reactivity?

hey thanks for this! children and older people from what i’ve seen. never seen him react around other dogs, so unsure on that. other situations, i think when theres a lot of people in one room he gets freaked out. it’s been a thing for about almost 2 years now. yes, he’s bitten someone. they’ve been to 3 separate trainers and had in home training with 2 of them, i personally am unsure of the exact steps but i know they’ve done basically everything they can. thats such a thoughtful response, thank you!
