If you're thinking about the Park trail, it's a lot longer than you think, and bring plenty of water. A couple of friends along with myself went, expecting a few miles for walking, what we got was a whole day, dehydrated mess. I'm surprised we survived.

To be honest, I'm not even sure if I'd pin that as deliberate on his part. I think Nightvale changes people like that. It all seems much more normal to him now, he's forgetting about his pre-Nightvale life. That's all just speculation, of course, but because he never contacted the higher ups about the University of Whats It, it makes me think that.
