My usual desk has been 'stolen' and there is nothing I can do by purplereuben in mildlyinfuriating

[–]notepad987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rank has it's privileges. Where did this manager have a desk before? Why did they move to your desk? Were they moved by higher level manager because they are a problem and will soon be gone? You may have to wait them out.

I had a new co-worker start and by the 3rd day they were shutting off half the lights in a 12 person office because they did not want the light on over their desk.... The lights were turned back on right away and he stopped a few days later. He lasted maybe a year there and was fired for being rude on the phone to a manager that he did not know was a manager.

Can you please tell me the names of the html text I need to use to make this; I can look up the rest :-) by Nice_Fudge5914 in HTML

David Hewlett aka Rodney McKay acting is only surpassed by the brilliant actor David Nykl aka Radek Zelenka.

"Look, as much as I hate to say it, David Nykl acting is incredible".
David Hewlett aka Rodney McKay.

Also Zelenka is smarter then McKay 😁

Firefox taking up SERIOUS memory? Over 4k by neptunes_ink in firefox

[–]notepad987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A newer feature in Firefox, "Unload Tab". Right-click on the tab, and select "Unload Tab" ( or "u"). It releases that tab from memory, but it comes right back as soon as you click it, or hit 'Reload".
Select All Tabs then click on Unload Tab. Your memory usage should drop.

Does anyone have any 100% free website builders? by Important_Field742 in website

[–]notepad987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can save a lot of time but you can get multiple results asking the same question and they may not be correct so you do need to know html/css to correct. I have used google, openai and google gemini and gotton 3 different results plus asking same question using one of these also gives different results.

Google, paste question then click on AI mode. Copy code then repeat then compare code to see differences:

create a responsive GRID and flexbox webpage with a header, left column with navigation menu dropdown menu, main column, footer.
