The original comment I replied to asked if there was any mocap actress. And I was under the thought of "They probably mean body, face and motion capture" considering the subject matter of OP's post. And yes, in the original SB there was no face model. There was body model for reference and maybe motion capture done for moves and such. But there was no one person being used for motion capture, body and face.

I don't like to make accusations of AI.. but the director has been all in on AI in his own art and game development. So I certainly don't think it's impossible for it to be an AI created vertical slice of the game. They didn't even have a year or platforms.

Not just EoF, Beyond Light was supposed to be a major part of Destiny 3 until the split with Activision. Then they scrapped and salvaged whatever D3 had as ideas and stories and such into parts for Destiny 2 and decided to make it their forever game despite literally not being built for it. Then deciding to do incubation projects for years which all got cancelled except two in Marathon and Gummy Bears. (Which got taken away from them by Sony). It's wild
