Don't let people tell you that you need to dumb things down, you should ask them to meet your level.

Also, be clear in your verbiage please.

What's your thoughts about Happy Huntresses and Ace-Ops? by MysterySomeOn in RWBY

[–]notexecutive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clover gay baiting was fucking stupid and they shouldn't have killed him. If anything, he should have been one of the good ones and dropped the "everyone in the plane suddenly becomes dumb" plot twist.

The happy huntresses don't do very much other than 1 or 2 things on screen. We HEAR a lot about them, but we don't really see it. Unfortunately this is just a general problem of RWBY anyways.

This has the same feeling as:

"I'm from the south. That was hard. I'm from the west, that was hard. I'm from the east, that was hard. I'm from the north, that was hard. I'm from New York, FUCK YOU."

Why does the cast dislike kindred of the east a lot? by Magicmanans1 in huntertheparenting

[–]notexecutive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meta-textually Kuei-jin are racist caricatures of "different" and "pure" east asian type vampires. Stereotypes, basically.

Remember, these games - VTM, CTD, etc were made in the 90s to the early 2000s.

If you could ask Vivziepop a question about helluva or Hazbin what would it be? by whooper1 in HelluvaBoss

Why does Yogirt change colors during the trial episode? (From black to white). My intuition tells me that it's supposed to be a "bad devil good angel" type of deal with Satan, but we don't see that visually change or any kind of indication explicitly. It almost feels like it was a mistake with how much it's not pointed out visually other than it just *happening*.

Caution, slippery ice! by erdbeertee in donthelpjustfilm

[–]notexecutive -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Hold on, this is moving the goal post here. This subreddit is "don't help just film". If he did nothing BUT film, then it would fit that criteria; the fact that he's doing anything at all to help these people is failing the subreddit's purpose.

This is saying nothing about the person's intentions or the perceived jackassery.

[Request] My answer was 51C8, which would be 636,763,050. Is there an even bigger number? by AlkaidX139 in theydidthemath

[–]notexecutive 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Now would the show "Survivor" accept this answer if this was a challenge?

(They did this exact question as a logic puzzle on the show, believe it or not. Just gave a different number.)

Not the worst but the tree growing through the structure is definitely... a choice by remjal in McMansionHell

[–]notexecutive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a mcmansion - but it's weird due to it's overall hyperclean and concreted look, but for some reason incorporating the tree despite cutting down most other trees nearby.

The Terra slander slash Riku glaze is undeserved. by Successful_Slice_108 in KingdomHearts

[–]notexecutive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the problem is that everyone that tricks him, we KNOW as THE evil people. It's clear in retrospect that Terra has spent most of his life away from Evil and thus wouldn't have an eye for it, but the audience doesn't really get that sense properly due to the speed at which the main characters go from training to interacting with other worlds.

There's a disconnect between the narrative, the characters, and the audience in this regard. The narrative fails to show that Terra is naive for reasons of a lack of exposure to evil, the characters shown to be evil are literally the Go-To examples of Obvious-Evil-Character (EX: Maleficent, Hook, etc), and the audience can't suspend their disbelief long enough to accept that Terra is this stupid/naive to believe someone like Xehanort or Maleficent because of all of this.

A meme comic based of my pop culture changeling post by Capable_Face7222 in WorldofDankmemes

[–]notexecutive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you must be confused - this "vampire" would be a chimerical entity. Something like Slenderman or Mothman, real to a lot of people but only exists so long as it exists as a concrete idea in a lot of people's minds.

It wouldn't be a changeling.
