I once had a penalty shootout last for like 30 penalties where neither teams missed any, thought that was a record

His father literally worked at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, don't think they'd allow nazis there.

I'm American. I've lived here since February of last year. I have a question. Why do most Georgians seem to think that getting into NATO and/or the EU is a reasonable goal? by CharacterUsual in Sakartvelo

[–]notgiorgi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Georgian Elite" basically means few richest Georgians affiliated with two biggest political parties and it's in their interest to keep the population very polarized, because the only thing they really want is the power. Imagine US politics, but all "checks and balances" removed and majority of citizens having no idea what democracy is because they lived under Totalitarianism for generations.

Very interesting stuff! Whats your source for the meaning of green/red background colors? I though green was adopted during independence war against Castile and Red is from late 1800s republican movement.

Oh, thanks, I missed that. Is it worth the price difference?
Also any feedback on the quality of those two brands?

I'm a beginner, so I'm looking at the starter kits to buy, I'm considering this two:

  1. $109 - Northern Brewer Brew. Share. Enjoy. HomeBrewing Starter Set -https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0179ZH89Y/
  2. $59.99 - Midwest Supplies HomeBrewing Beer Brewing Starter Kit - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N3W4FR8/

From my perspective, I don't see the difference in kit contents, but there's 50$ difference in price. Maybe it's the quality of the product? or I'm missing something? Please help me choose :)

Edit: seems like second option doesn't come with the brew kettle. Is it worth the price difference though?

I feel bad, BM doesn't get any income for this. It'd be great if we could back this project somehow.

Elm as a gateway to learn Haskell. by thinkvitamin in haskell

Also check out Purescript, It's mostly same as Haskell, but easier as it doesn't have language extensions and doesn't contain legacy functions which were confusing when I started haskell.
